𝐈𝐂 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐍𝐒

milena loved her mum, but her dad is where she inherited her primary traits. he was brash, rude, determined, but also a really great father. anyone who knew him watched as he mellowed out after kolya came along, but he melted around milena. he was the first man she ever wrapped around her finger.

simka was prone to bouts of melancholy, and while lenya thankfully never inherited it, nikolai had started showing signs that he would. despite being the older sibling, he was the softer one, and lenya would sometimes wake up so him snuggling in her bed because he needed the comfort.

ekaterina was always the life of the party, a bright and shining beacon, she never intended to marry a man who would become royalty, she married maksim because she loved him, she was unfaithful to him because he became a man she didn’t marry.

when her parents died, and lenya and kseniya were taken in by their uncle, she was scared she would feel like an outlier. she never had before, she always fit in with her cousins, but she had also never lived with them. once she was there she never felt that way again.

kostya is her favourite cousin, but mostly because he’s been so attentive during the pregnancy. her favourite doesn’t change with her mood but she usually changes it every couple of years.

elisa and i haven’t discussed this but lyosha totally walked lenya down the aisle at her wedding to henri.

she walked herself down the aisle to pyotr tho.

k’s seem to be a running theme in her immediate family ( eg. simka, katya, kolya, kseniya ), when she was drunk at university she got a teeeeeny tiny ‘ k ’ on her pelvis, it’s tucked underneath her underwear. only people that she’s been intimate with and her doctor know that it’s there.

once she left russia for university, up until she returned after henri’s death, she would dedicate the first weekend of every month to seeing kseniya. usually, it meant she’d fly to st. petersburg on the friday, and fly back on sunday night. once, prince albert honoré demanded she attend an engagement on the designated saturday, so she took the jet he was planning on using that night to see one of his mistresses so that he couldn’t go without flying commercial. sucks to suck.

nadya cried when she held katya for the first time, and i just can’t keep it to myself any longer, it might be my favourite hc ever ( ty jude imy :(( )

honestly, this was so much work, but most of it was just finding decent pictures

same criteria for alexei but mostly just that tired aesthetic bc you know he just is. pining after anneli is a full-time job.

i saw this instagram post and just knew that jessica biel had to be kseniya + lenya’s mum. i mean, those lips.

vaguely remembered once seeing a picture of rachel mcadams from the sherlock premiere and looked for it for an hour because it just fits irina so well.

i realised lenya has a type — aka if your character is between 30 and 40 and has blue eyes, blonde/light brown hair and a jawline carved by jesus himself, she wants you.

‘ former husband ’ sounds a lot better than DEAD husband, but when i say i was tempted...

casey deidrick only has semi-shirtless photos or black and white ones, i dig the aesthetic but lenya really would just like kostya to put his shirt on thank you very much
