I like the idea of 9501-9510 Myyah/Grahf simply for the potential Myyah character exploration through her connection to the Contact that she never really had vs her "sister"s. Just maybe some rare fleeting moments of feeling more human before programming takes over again.
And like, its almost completely superficial in the end because Grahf is not the same as Lacan, not the same as her sister-clone's other half; it may be Lacan's body but he's trapped within.
And maybe Grahf understands that fleeting feeling she has of being trapped in the cycle, because its something he's trying to end, but he still knows she's bad news and her programming is stronger than Cain's.
It may only be strictly supported by Anthology & my own headfanon, but non-canon stuff is fun to contemplate. I used to be so stuffy about canon with everything. I still feel like Im having to justify to myself why Im liking something non-canon, its seriously a pain in the neck lol

[ACE, REVERSED] - Is there anyone that makes them feel like a puppet on strings? If so, who is this person in relation to them, and how do they navigate that relationship? (for both Fei and Id)
[ THE CUPS - ACCEPTING ]
[ACE, REVERSED] for Fei and Id
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Being the Contact has given both Fei and Id a very rough ride on the puppet strings of several people and greater powers. Everyone and anyone in the know has wanted to manipulate either of them for their power, from the Gazel Ministry and Solaris to Myyah to Grahf to even the powers deemed 'divine'. Even their very existence has been a form of puppet strings, trapping them in a cycle that has only just broken. It'd probably be a shorter list to say who they haven't felt like— or even outright been— a puppet for. However, as far as specific and persistent relationships, Fei doesn't have much contact with most of those people anymore, as most have since died or otherwise passed from his life. However, there are some lingering complications Fei has with his close friend and semi-mentor Citan. While he's come to understand why Citan did the things he did, there are still some uneasy feelings as to the sheer depth of secrets kept from him. It'd be a lie to say that Fei hasn't thought about the more questionable things, but he's overall forgiven Citan. He's not exactly keen on lingering on the acts in the face of everything else they've both been through together. Id was primarily used by Grahf during his childhood. Having been abducted as a child and given limited contact with anyone else, Id was vulnerable to being manipulated to Grahf's will, which was mostly for the intended purpose of not just honing and developing his power, but of Grahf merging with him eventually: finally becoming one with himself again and using the Contact power to end humanity's tragic cycle through complete obliteration. While Grahf is now gone, Id's still trying to decide how to navigate his feelings about it all.

The full painting. I wanted to add something more to it, considering the mirror pool in the center.
