"Shingo can you come here for a second? I need to speak with you," oh god he's using his leader voice. What was it this time?

"Here I want you to take a look at this" he hands off a letter, crumpled soft and warm. Probably was in his back pocket all day.

"What is it?" You don't bother to actually open it.

"A challenge. Next Saturday, downhill."

"These guys not good enough for you or are you finally admitting that I'm better than you?" You say grinning through the cigarette chewed between your teeth. Sarcastic venom seeping over every word.

"Yes actually," wait. He wasn't supposed to say that.

"I ran into them this morning. Dude's an asshole. Blew past me on my way to work and had the audacity to diss my ride and my boys. They don't even deserve the time of day." He shifted his weight against his car giving the door a little tap as if in apology for what was said to it, "Even still I could tell they aren't someone to be messing with. Honestly, they could give either one of us a run for our money if we aren't too careful. But, you have something I don't that would give us the edge in this battle."

You blink at him. This vunrability was new and in front of the team no less.

"I want you to rip them apart. Leave them in the dust as soon as you can but if they give you trouble I want you to tear them to shreds." his glare only excentuated by his neatly groomed and painted facial features. The way he meant business sent your admiration and excitment soaring.

The grin morphed into a snear,"I'll make sure they understand that the Myogi Night Kids aren't to be messed with."

if anyone is looking for the real licensed initial d (jada toys) model of the r32 with shingo and Takeshi, someone is selling theirs on a french website for 80 €, and it looks to be in pretty nice shape
