A lot of my lorre related opinions have changed since I've had this blog
The biggest one I can think of rn is that Polo and 'I was an Adventuress' >>>>>>> Louie and 'I'll give a million'
#peter lorre#i was an Adventuress#polo#ill give a million#louie the dope#its partially that ive come to find polo to be slightly more complex than louie#but also every time i rewatch IGAM i find myself a little bit more uncomfortable with its implications#idk the fact that its a silly comedy and so old made it easier for me to look past the anti homeless and classist sentiments of it initially#but thinking about the fact that the actual great depression was happening while that film was being made and came out#makes the fact that its about a dude whos sad cause hes too rich even more off putting than it already seemed yknow?#my second biggest change of opinion since starting this blog was probably my gradual descent into becoming a mortimer brewster hater#third was realising tmf isnt that good#at least for a bogey film#i still like the characters and how they choose to give us plot info n stuff#but id rather watch most peterless bogey films than tmf most days
