Unfortunately, becoming a surgeon entails having to deal with surgeons.
#including the asshole kind#which fortunately is very rare in my department#but there’s this one senior resident#i don’t even know what I ever did to them#but apparently they felt the need to embarrass me in front of a whole dinner table including attendings and industry reps#at least by now I know not to take it to heart#my mental span of getting from ‚omg I’m a terrible person everybody hates me‘ to ‚ugh that asshole let them talk‘ has gotten a lot shorter#but still…#annoying af#surgery#residency#medblr
