yesterday a student at my job got hit by a car and he didn’t make it. today was so surreal
#we went to the memorial to pay respects and his mom was there wailing#my heart has never felt this broken fot a complete stranger before#my kids were all crying and I didn’t know what to do#I got in the car and called my mom and was sobbing as I drove home like god this is so fucked up#he was 12 years old and he was literally a block from his front door people need to slow down in school zones!
