OH BOY OH BOY LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT STARDEW VALLEY
Stardew Valley is a delightful little farm management game in the vein of Harvest Moon where you, the player, inherit an abandoned farmstead from your grandfather. You decide to escape your depressing office job in the city and move to the farm, and slowly turn the plot of overgrown forest back into a lucrative piece of farmland
The farm sits at the edge of a small village, Pelican Town. Your presence in the town will change it forever as the narrative explores the effects of capitalist monopolies on small towns and encourages a harmonious relationship with nature. You’re able to become friends with the citizens, all of whom have unique personalities and backstories.
Twelve of the townspeople are potential love interests
Alex, the jock with big dreams; Elliot, a novelist who is channeling some DEEP Oscar Wilde energy; Harvey, the town doctor; Sam, who wants to be a musician; Sebastian, the quiet goth nerd; Shane, a depressed mess oh my god someone help this man; Leah, an artist who left the city to pursue her dreams; Emily, a somewhat spiritual girl with a passion for sewing clothes; Haley, Emily’s sister who was popular in high school and is still adjusting to small town life; Maru, an inventor and also basically a genius let’s be real; Penny, the shy bookworm who tutors the town’s kids

Abigail, soft goth adventurer feminist nerd who owns my heart and soul
And the best part? You can romance any of these characters regardless of the gender you pick for your farmer. The character creation options are binary, sadly, but all of these characters are available to befriend, date, and marry, no matter the gender you pick
It’s available on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation, and you should definitely play it if you get the chance. It’s pure and wholesome and good
