Sasha Brouse (Headcanon) She was raised in a small town in Wall Rose, and decided to join the fight against the titans when refugees from Wall Maria. She joined the cadets and later in the Survey Corps. She is characterized by her love of food and unlimited positivity in the face of danger. She dies after a mission at the age of 19. Her family is endlessly kind and understanding about refugees and their plight. And later on in the series they’re seen caring for people regardless of their past. Very reminiscent of the churches call to help refugees and preparation. Her hometown is also small and closeknit, similar to a lot of LDS communities. Sasha is similar to her parents in that she cares deeply for her friends, which honestly just gives off the vibes of the best LDS girlies I know.

Mrs. Columbo (Headcanon) Mrs. Columbo is the wife of Lt Columbo, who often references her and other members of their extensive family when solving crimes. The Columbo family is massive, with cousins, nephew, nieces, neighbors, etc. Real Mormon sized. Mr. Columbo is obviously not a member, so if anyone is a member there it's gotta be Mrs. Columbo.

...I had no idea Tubi had Mrs. Columbo. I was under the impression it wasn't even something that was really available aside from a few episodes they threw in with the Columbo dvd sets.

To my surprise Donald Pleasence (aka Adrian Carsini in 'any old port in a storm') is in the second episode and I might just have to try and watch it just to see how they pulled that off.

Lilo Pelekai (Headcanon) Since Lilo Pelekai’s parents died in a car crash, she’s been living under custody of her older sister Nani. She’s lonely and emotional and nothing seems to go her way, until she meets a mysterious, behaviorally-challenged ‘dog’ that isn’t all that he seems. Maybe this is kind of a stretch, but there’s a strong Mormon presence in like, Polynesia, Samoa, etc, and so it stands to reason there’d be a good amount of church members in Hawai’i. There was definitely a big, friendly ward when I got to visit Kaua’i! It also strikes me how strong Lilo and Nani’s conception of family is, ‘Ohana,’ and we know that’s a big tenet of our religion is eternal families. I imagine the issue of race in the church would make things a little rocky, for them, and being Mormon would definitely create an in for that stupid redhead girl to bully her. I imagine Nani would’ve gone a bit inactive in her teen years and then gravitated back to church with the death of her parents. Maybe I just like to think they have hope of seeing their parents again, y’know?
