Sam’s inability to ignore the statements feels really eye coded to me. Being told to just skim or ignore it but he always gets so wrapped up in it all. Reminds me of Jon when he couldn’t not finish a statement. (Which ended up causing the eyepocalypse 👁️)

Also being told to quit or leave if he’s unhappy. Something the folks at the magnus institute couldn’t do. Maybe something he can’t do either.
