HIP MOBILITY ACTIVE DRILLS🚨 🟦 A solid mobility routine will address the entire hip joint through various movements. Also, very important to understand that the hip joint is a “ball and socket” joint noting its ability to move through a large range of motion and more than 1 motion at a time (Ex: hip flexion can be performed along with hip external rotation (ER) and/or abduction). 🟧 The hips can be a big problem for the joints above and below. For example, poor hip motion during the golf swing⛳️ can allow ⬆️ low back stress; or, poor hip motion when cutting in basketball🏀can place greater stress on the knees. 👉🏼 SWIPE LEFT for 4 active hip mobility drills: Hamstring Rocks Hip Circles Hip 90/90 Switch Hip 90/90 Lift Kick 👉 Please tag & share with friends that could benefit from this post ❤️ Credit @doclizziedpt ⚠️ Disclaimer: this is for informational purpose only; not medical advice; if you have pain or functional limitations, seek a medical professional Make yourself a priority, invest in your health, book online at Brisbane Massage Therapy. www.brisbanemassagetherapy.com.au #massagetherapy #brisbanemassage #brisbanebeauty #mountgravatt #uppermountgravatt #mountgravatteast #mountgravattlookout #mountgravattlashes #mountgravattmazda #mountgravattcafe #mountgravattpropertyvalue #mountgravattplaza #mountgravattmeditation #fitstopmountgravatt #mountgravattlashextensions #mountgravatteyelashextensions #mountgravattshow #mountgravatt_manicure #mountgravattmarkets #ancientmedicine #alternativehealth https://www.instagram.com/p/Cf0lmElrEqK/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

⚡️Tennis Elbow⚡️ Tennis Elbow is a condition that causes pain around the outside of the elbow. It often happens after overuse or repeated action of the muscles of the forearm, near the elbow joint. You may notice pain on the outside of the elbow, which may travel down the forearm when lifting or bending your arm, or when twisting your forearm, gripping small objects. Tennis elbow is usually caused by overusing the muscles attached to your elbow and used to straighten your wrist. If the muscles are strained, tiny tears and inflammation can develop. And you should avoid the activity that is causing the pain until your symptoms improve. If the pain in your elbow does not go away after a few days of rest, visit a GP. The first steps in treating tennis elbow are reducing inflammation and resting the irritated muscles and tendons.Avoid the activities that is cause pain, Ice and compression may also help reduce inflammation and pain. Once inflammation subsides, you can begin gentle exercises to strengthen the muscles of your forearm and prevent recurrence (Be sure to check with your doctor or physical therapist to determine when you are ready to begin therapy exercises). And here are some exercises i like to use with Tennis Elbow: DB Supination. Wrist Extension. Wrist Flexion. 🗣 Save, Share, Repost and tag a friend.
