I've been meaing to share this headcanon so here it is!!!!!

what if trolls.... had fur!!!!! like animals do!!!! :D And the reason ancestors are just silhouettes is because trolls shed their fur as they grow and it gets darker!! so a grub would have white fur*, a teen[?] [around 6-9[nice] sweeps] would have grey, young adults [10-13 sweeps] would have darker grey, and full grown [depends on the caste**] Also!!!!!! Hair is kinda like a mane!! trolls who fight often will probably cut it short, but short hair doesn't have to mean you're a fighter, it could just be a style / personal preference!! Although longer hair often shows pride, but again, it could just be a personal / styllistic choice !! *or !! they're just furless. **rust: 4-7 sweeps before death [of old age], bronze, 8-12, gold, 12-15, etc.
