Still knelt down, he scowled as he glanced up. "You can't be serious." He'd made a right nuisance of himself at the Countess' event the other night, teasing about the way she handled a few of the guests - among other things he'd done to press her buttons. Today, she'd called him to her quarters without an explanation. Sebastian had expected a lecture of sorts, but his pride sorely protested at what she came to ask him. "The lady of the house has courage, to request a devil over her knee."

The Countess Claudia Phantomhive was very serious about what she said. She has warned him once, she has warned him twice. There was no way to punish a demon in a traditional way. His mistress couldn’t cut off his salary, because he doesn’t care about money, she couldn’t even shoot him because the bastard was immortal…

But there was something she could do, something she WILL do.

The demon has got his pride to be hurt.

“Next time you will know how to behave.” Claudia approached the chest under the wall and took out something from it - a horse whip - then she sat on the chair.

“Pants down and come here! It’s an order! It’s for your good!”

The Watchdog whipped the flexible stick against own hand trying it. The sound visibly pleased her.

“I hate repeating myself, pet”
