Day 10 of #MomentsMatter2017 : Hands. Boy have these babies done a lot for me. We often take for granted things we use every day. Learning self care, and giving all parts of your body the proper attention is incredibly important. Playing piano, practicing yoga, being a server, my hands are everything, and not taking care of them or my wrists has tested me; Carpal tunnel is greuling. It's hard to be mindful of things that are so second nature to us, but I can definitely say it only gets harder if we DON'T take that time to bring awareness to what we should take care of. Take some time to stretch out your hands, wrists, shoulders, and neck. Maybe sit down and rub your feet when you get home. Take some time to appreciate your appendages and all that they do. Day 6 of #MomentsMatter2017: Imagine. Could you imagine looking into a raindrop and seeing trillions of other world's, just in that raindrop alone? This picture is slightly sharpened to highlight the other world I see in the bubbles. This picture is absolutely incredible to me. These bubbles were debris of a rushing waterfall, and catching a still shot of these frozen in time is flippin' incredible.(I also almost died when I saw them and thought of eggs and cells producing an embryo, essentially creating life) ❤ Whats even more incredible, is the trees reflection in the bubbles, almost like little lenses of their own. The more I looked at this picture, the more I thought about how pictures freeze time, for a moment whatever you capture is perfect for that single second you hit a button. When you capture those perfect moments, you can see worlds upon worlds in a moment that only passed you only once. ❤ Imagine if we were consciously aware of this, and could see the millions of worlds happen in front of us within each second. Imagine the appreciation for life we would have, how connected we would be. What would it be like if we saw life within each moment? #FoodForThought #Imagine
