the further i get in this gale romance run the more i am convinced that the forbidden ship this fandom is sleeping on when it comes to comedy potential is gale/wyll
they are both incredibly romantic and sweet while also having a streak of competitiveness and desire to show off for their loved one
it would turn into the most romcom nonsense of trying to outdo each other with romantic gestures POSSIBLE. someone would eventually have to intervene, possibly the combined forces of the merchants guilds of waterdeep and baldur's gate because these two idiots are artificially causing a shortage of flowers, chocolate, wine, and high-end spell components with their romantic arms race.

Every BG3 guide I go to for help is telling me I have to Make The Wrong Decisions because Characters Will Be More Powerful and I'm like, you don't understand, I cannot Do That Thing. Yes it will mean the dungeons will take six more hours to complete, but you don't understand, random NPC needs EMOTIONAL GROWTH.

I really want to play more non magic based classes or at least just more heavy fighty type classes but I just love being a super magic bitch in my video games sm
#Im always a magic based class or rogue lmao#I think I played warrior classes only twice in Dragon Age lmao#everyone else is always a mage and then Ive got a handful of rogues#cause Miris Tabris is my main HoF and shes a rogue lmao#but also a ranger so she uses stuff that looks like magic but apparently isnt lmao#Ive always secretly loved the idea my Tabris is actaully also an apostate but Ive never commited to that#And now in Baldurs Gate 3 even in early acsses I was only playing magic classes#but other classes look so fucking fun#and I need to force myself to have more of a variety lmao#cause I also rarely play any of the small races in Dragon Age and Baldurs Gate#and it started and is kinda still a thing for me#because so many games feel like they cut content and animations for the short races and Im afraid I’ll miss things :(#and also Dragon Agr specifically got dwarf proportions looking FUCKED to me#But I really really wanna play the small races :(#but I also know BG3 also has little cut animations n stuff if youre shorter 😭😭😭#I hate that I let that hold me back#BUT ANYWAYS YEAH#I WANNA PLAY A TANKY CLASS REAL BAD

i was obsessed with my tav OC bc she's based on the first DND character I ever played 6+ years ago and so she has a rich backstory and inner life that only I am aware of and I live in pain every day because of it
but the dark urge... I just made a character and was like "I'll come up with the details as I play" and boy. howdy. did I. she's everything. I wanna talk about her SO BADLY.

Grief isn’t linear. Miriam knows this, knows it in the marrow of her bones, but it doesn’t stop the way the grief hits her like a brick to the head from time to time.
She wakes up in her familiar dreamscape on the worst possible night. Cassian is wearing something far truer to life tonight: padded leather trousers, a dark blue tunic, his artificer’s apron — enchanted with shielding magic, Taveric’s A&A embroidered neatly across the chest — hanging loosely off of his neck. And it should be a comforting sight. She’d asked for this, after all. This ridiculous game of make-believe.
Tonight, she’s buried too many bodies to take solace in playing pretend.
“You are distracted tonight,” the specter of her brother says. “Why?”
“You know why.” Miriam scowls and runs her fingers along the spines of the books he keeps in this strange place, this dimension within a dimension where none of the rules of the waking world seem to matter. None of them are in languages she recognizes. When she pulls one out, it crumbles into ash in her hands before re-materializing in its proper place as though she’d never touched it at all.
“It is neither your place nor your responsibility to maintain the lives of everyone around you, Miri.”
The illusion only wavers further, because the real Cassian would never have said something like that. He wouldn’t have, because she wouldn’t have cared. The old Miriam, the version that her brother had known in the land of the living, would have walked by every tiefling corpse littering the route to Reithwin with a shrug. Maybe a remorseful lament of the sad state of things, for the ones she could actually recognize by name.
It would have all been very tragic, but it would also have wholly not been her problem. She didn’t kill them. Why should she spare them a second thought?
Why does she?
“You lied to me,” she says softly. She turns Cassian’s earring over in her palm with a bitter laugh. The ache flares up in the back of her throat again, untethered and raw.
“Have I?” her dream guardian asks.
“You said you picked his form to make me trust you.” She slips the earring back into her pocket and stares off of their little platform and into the flickering astral sea beyond. “But that’s not true, is it?” She turns and looks at him, all of him, this shrouded stranger wearing her brother’s face. “I know why you really chose this form.”
“Do enlighten me.”
Miriam laughs again. It’s a harsh, cold sound. “You picked this form so I couldn’t bear to kill you.”

3. What fandoms do you write for?
I mainly write for Haikyuu, My Hero Academia and Bluelock, but have also published for BG3 + Buddy Daddies. And I have some JJK in the wips
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Most of the time I will respond, yes!
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Oooh... I don't know that I write angsty endings. Usually it's angst all the way till the end. Maybe Interlude: The Senses of You as although there's comfort at the end there's also lots of crying? I think overall it's my most angsty fic as well
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Hmmm... most of them have happy endings so idk... maybe Strategies for Play bc Kuroo's "masterplan" worked and it ends post great sex with everyone cuddling in bed being super cute?
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Nope, not ever received hate on my fics but I have received hate about my fics on here (the Astarion one)
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Most of what I write tends to be smut lmao. And I guess all kinds but usually with some kind of bdsm/kink dynamics to them? 4 of my published fics are smut (cater to you, he was made to be broken, strategies for play, and the miya atsumu humilation show), and an additional 1 has some sexual content in it (just watch me). My more "risque" content is currently languishing in my wips waiting to be finished (yeah i'm looking at you inumaki/itadori/sukuna fic)
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
Yes, but none of them have been published yet LMAO. I can't tell you about one of them that'll be published soon for the They Were Roommates big bang, but I did/do have a bluelock/D&D cross over that's probably the "craziest" one (and also SO much fun to plan). Deep in my wips I also have a BokuAka Greek Mythology AU and sketches for a Haikyuu/Dirty Dancing AU
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Hope not!
12. There was no question 12 so I'll make one up myself: What's the longest you've ever spent working on one fic? And the shortest?
LMAO. I love this because who made this one up? idk! If we're going by published fics then The Miya Atsumu Humiliation Show took me from May to October 2023 (5 months), and I've been working on my TWRRMs bang fic since May (currently 6 months). I've also been planning/writing Fire On the Horizon since Jan 2023!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I've co-created a fic, as in coming up with the idea with another person, and I've also co-created in the sense of working with beta readers for bang fics. I've not co-written anything yet though, but I would love to!
14. What's your all-time favourite ship?
Nooo... what a cruel question. I'll give you my top 5 bc I simply cannot choose: krbk (kirishima/bakugou), stsg (gojo/geto), skts (sakusa/atsumu), bkak (bokuto/akaashi), bokuroo (bokuto/kuroo)
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
gods. So many of them tbh... I might one day muster the will to finish he was made to be broken. I want to finish the kunichi (kunigami/raichi) one but idk if I will ever get round to it. And the bllk/D&D one would take a lot of work, but maybe if/when I get back into bllk that'd help
16. What are your writing strengths?
I always struggle with this question bc I have really bad writing insecurities but recently I've been able to conclude that I think I'm reasonably good at comedic writing (people tend to find my fics quite funny), emotive writing (I make people cry/feel Emotions, even if said people don't usually when reading fics), and descriptive writing (I get lots of compliments that people can visualise exactly what I've described)
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
idk if it's a "true" weakness but I'm always paranoid that my dialogue is weak as balls. I also don't have much experience with writing long fic, and thus also character + plot development, but this is something I wanna work on. Oh, the biggest one is probs confidence in myself though!
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I think it sounds like a cool idea if it works within the context!
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Hahaha so technically I think the first fandom I ever wrote for was Spyro the Dragon when I was like... 6 or 7. On Ao3 though it was Harry Potter in 2014. When I returned to writing in 2022, the first one was My Hero Academia
20. Favourite fic you've written?
Oooooooooh. I think my favourite is Strategies for Play. I adored writing it and it was the easiest one I've ever written. Plus writing Bokuto/Akaashi/Kuroo/Iwaizumi dynamics was *chefs kiss*. Otherwise, the [redacted] TWRMMs bang fic I'm writing at the moment is one I've had lots of fun with and am excited to share (very, very soon!) Just Watch Me is also one of my favourites bc krbk my beloveds and it's the one that brought me back to fic writing so its v dear to my heart

only to watch them all come running into the meat grinder that is the blood of lathander+spirit guardians and instantly explode

i caved and went back to an old save right at the start of act ii, just so that in my head in one universe ryse and karlach could be together. broke up with lae'zel before she got serious about Us. all set for things to kick off.
....THIS TIME, WYLL FUCKIN JUMPED IN TO COCKBLOCK. APPARENTLY THIS MOTHERFUCKER WAS JUST SITTING THERE PINING THIS WHOLE TIME, AND ME BREAKING UP WITH LAE'ZEL WAS PRIME "SWEET DANCING MOMENT IN THE STARS" FOR MR BLADE OF FRONTIERS. I JOKED THAT SHADOWHEART WAS ALSO NURSING A SECRET CRUSH IN THIS LOVE TRIANGLE BUT NO!!!!! WYLL THIS WHOLE TIME!!!!! WAS THIS ENTIRE CAMP JUST WAITING FOR ME TO HOP OFF LAE'ZEL'S LAP FOR FIVE MINUTES SO THEY COULD SHOOT THEIR SHOT?????

i LOVE the fact that you don't need to be romancing astarion to get him saying that you're the only one who's ever cared about him. like yes, this is a platonic thing, and also yes it doesn't make it any less valid or important.
and also, 'other people don't have a heart like you, you're you, no-one is like that' is just. so sad. it's a little funny but mostly just sad. and on the other hand, him approving if you tell him there are people who will love him if he lets them, trying to play it off with a 'don't sell yourself short' joke and not being able to fully do so...
especially when, if you do the rounds of camp, you've got karlach right there just FURIOUS about cazador coming after Her People, like. astarion buddy it isn't just me!! you've got a whole team here!! ;;
