Cosplay WIP: Part 1!
A quick video on one of my WIPs, Fa Yuiry's civilian vest!
I'm literally so close to completing this vest, all I need is to work the bottom portion of the back of the vest, then sew it all up!
I measured myself for this and kinda winged the pattern, but I'm hoping that it'll fit snugly rather than loose. Crochet can be kinda finicky when it comes to stretch so I wouldn't be surprised if this came out looser than I expected >__>
As for the rest of the costume, I'm planning to just get the yellow turtleneck, ankle socks, and some black shorts for it.

5.0mm hook

Cosplay WIP: Part 2!
After trial and error of finishing up the back panel, I've finally completed my panels! I was off by 1 stitch on my count and while it usually wouldn't bother me, I wanted to get it perfect because I'm writing up a quick pattern for the vest. Just wanna make sure everything is as perfect as I can get it to be ^u^
In the video, I've already sewed the front panels together. Maybe I should have made the front panel just one big piece instead of split up into two cause you can kind of see a line where I sewn everything :/ But it's okay! I also sewed the shoulder portion so that I can rest it on me to see how it drapes.
Gonna need to get a small belt buckle for the back to fix the issue of the vest not hugging my waist, which made me sighhh but I'm not giving up yet, I am so close to completing this project and then I'll have one more WIP completed for this year!!
