Mei saying that she hopes the sun is always shining on Kiana and Kiana being everyone's beacon so to say really adds one her ties too the moon huh. Like yes she is kind of your typical sunshine character BUT. she's seeing the sunlight and all that's good in the world. And she's taking it in and reflecting it back at her friends. She's catching the sun's light and shining it through the dark, leading her friends and giving them the same hope she has, just like the moon.
