Sometimes a song is about having a person that's incredibly close to you and has altered the course of your life forever, and you care for and trust them more than any other person. At the end of the day, it's the two of you against the world. It always has been. You're in it together. Maybe it's romantic, maybe it's not, but regardless of that, you have a bond that's persisted through everything that's happened to you. You would run away with them anytime. And I think that's really beautiful.
