I hope this goes without saying but whoever wins the rematch will face off against the Holy Moonlight Sword for a week. You know for funsies. Not that I have any doubts that the Holy Moonlight Sword will win anyways but it'll be fun to see what happens you know

#sword showdown #the bladesmith speaks #it would be REALLY funny if nightblood won and we got to have a repeat of the original round 1 poll they were in together #this already proves that apparently i was SO wrong for matching them up in round 1 last time #i had no idea they could have literally been a finals match and i put them together in round 1 #the ULTIMATE seeding fail....#i even seed with intention too i don't do it randomly i just had NO idea the hms had that much of a following #IT ONLY GOT ONE SUBMISSION!!!#im still losing my mind over that lmfao #no offense to splatoon fans btw but im pretty sure you'll get swept too if splatana goes up against the hms #the power of soulsborne fans is just truly unmatched #i must say i am a bit shocked that none of them showed up to root for the elden ring swords this time. i thought rivers of blood was sweepi #maybe the soulsborne fans are gone...? in which case the rematch winner might have a shot #idk we'll just have to see
