random things I wanted to write into a post

I recently discovered a love for pastel pink. One day I’ll have pastel pink skirts after I transition and I’ll be adorable. I still want to dye my hair blue. Or purple. But Probably blue. This for some reasons gives me anxiety to think about doing though. IDK why it does. But it does. I think Anxiety is one of the leading reasons why I get suicidal thoughts. I really want to reply super Mario sunshine. I can’t find my original disk and apparently, Gamecube games aren’t on the Nintendo e-shop. It’s also not in the local retro game store. With my resurrected wiiu I can finally replay Windwaker again. This is something I’ve wanted to do for a while now too. I’ve realized the only reason I played overwatch was to kill time, not because it was fun. Now that I’ve uninstalled it, I’m not sure how to occupy that time. Maybe I’ll learn some skills on Khan Academy. I want to learn how to play the Piano and am considering getting a musical keyboard to learn. I use to be a pretty messy slob. Now I hate when things aren’t in their place. I’m not perfect but I am much, much, much cleaner then I was 10 years ago. As much as I want to transition, the thought also terrifies me. I’m afraid of losing family, and I’m afraid of the prejudice the world has to offer. Even if the place I live is fairly accepting. I deeply regret now I treated my things in the past. I did not take care of them and I’ve lost many things that I wish I could revisit. I hate having to choose between maintaining a half-decent sleep schedule and actually seeing my friends outside of work. I’ve become a sucker for collectibles. I hate how little I see my friends outside of work. My anxiety often gets the better of me and I feel like I’m bothering them by messaging them, but I’m also afraid the day draws nearer where they will be out of my life as we all just grow apart. My inability to keep in contact with people will result in me dying alone. Social Anxiety means I constantly fret over every word I’ve said convinced some small thing will make people hate me. It’s tiring. Sometimes I even fret over Tumblr posts. Writing this is a good form of release and is making me feel better. That’s all for now

So after I finish these Ridley Smash pics, Im gonna do Zero Suit Samus and that will finish the Metroidians.

But what Smash characters do you want to see afterwards? I already know a few I wanna tackle first. Wanna do the DK trio.

But yea feel free to suggest who you wanna see me draw first. I got 70+ characters to do anyway.

Also JFC some character will get alts, and some wont. For example- I’ll WILL= Both Ike’s, Female + Male alts (Inkling, Corrin, Robin etc)

I (PROBABLY) WONT= all the koopalings, (BowserJr and maybe one alt is enough), Mario Wedding/ Builder alts, Shulk Shirtless. Those are the only 3 I can think of atm.

Some personal bias may come into play here as well jfc cos I dont have a wide knowledge of all these series.

Then theres something else I wanna... talk about at a later date. Idk when, its nothing important, just genuine curiosity.

Did any of you guys like to come up with video games as a kid? Or even now? Like you ;loved a game so much you wanted to ‘make’ a Super Mario Sunshine 2 or something (I know I did).

I have 2 game ideas in mind rn and I wouldn’t mind just- talking about them a lil. But I wanna doodle pics to explain my visions.

I finished my Sword Nuzlocke the other day. My final team consisted of my starter, Inteleon, a birb from route 5, Corviknight, this fossil i found, Arctozolt (who surprisingly was a great addition), an asshole squid, the Malamar (it had the ability contrary and Superpower which was OP as heck), some weirdo who decided to attack me from behind a mushroom, the Grimmsnarl, and a leafeon i caught right before the champion battle because they so Cruelly defeated my Ferrothorn in the final battles. I have such a respect for that pokemon now. Who knew Steel/Grass was Such a Good Typing. 

Debating on my next one because that went a lot faster than the other one. The EXP Share really Speeds stuff up. Pearl took me WEEKS and i didn’t even win that one. I won this one in like three or four days with only like 20 hours, Pearl had over 45+ maybe 50 Hours.  I’m debating on doing Ultra Sun, but people say that its the Hardest game to beat in a Nuzlocke and idk if I’m ready for that pull at the heartstrings. Y is supposedly the easiest but i want a challenge... (Also do i really want to play the literal worst region again?) Black or Black 2 might be good, but idk if i still have the stuff to transfer whats in those games up to Home. I dont want to just pay for Bank again and totally forget about it even though its much cheaper than Home.  There’s also HeartGold or SoulSilver?  I could also do a quick run of Let’s Go Eevee? Before i lose the switch to my bf playing Super Mario Sunshine lol. Or make it literally impossible by chaining for a shiny on every route and playing with only shinies. That would make me hate existing but it would be a Challenge.  I could also do FireRed but idk where my dslite is and i dont really want to go that far back after playing Sword.  Maybe I’ll do Y because i hardly remember the game and i don’t care about the pokemon in the game. Even though they are really easily transferred. 

I liked the style of X/Y but I don't think it'd fit a LoZ game. I have entirely forgotten the looks of whatever came after. A Link between Worlds was... I won't say ugly because I do like it but, different. It was clearly the new version of aLttPs style, and that alone was enough for me to like the style. And the Maiamai were so cute, the annoying little brats. Getting themselves stuck in hard to reach places and crying about it. (1/5)

i liked the x/y overworld look, but to me all the 3d pokemon models just have this... lifeless quality to them or something, idk how to explain it. tbh it’s weird bc it’s gamecube but i liked how the pokemon looked in pokemon xd: gale of darkness lol. they actually look like they’re solid and a part of the environment they’re in. maybe it’s bc nintendo hasn’t updated the 3d models in a while that makes them look pasted in to me, i’m not sure. again, i liked the albw overworld look (and it was cool how they did the slanted top-down perspective in 3d!), but i thought the cutscenes looked a little goofy bc of the character models. but yeah i love those maiamai, i would die for their annoying asses fdkjsghkf

I know there’s a map for LoZ1 in Hyrule Historia, I’ve used it before. My mom got me LoZ2 when it was rereleased for the GBA, I played once. I do like the odd references to the game, such as the names and ‘it’s a secret to everybody’ but my do I dislike the game itself. I was alive when the 3rd and 4th games were released but only just. My mom bought a SNES when I was like 5 and I've been hooked on LoZ since. It's been a while... (2/5) 

aww, it’s so cool that your mom got you into zelda! my first video game was pokemon sapphire on the gba sp (it was a blue one). my mom learned to play pokemon so that she could help me when i got frustrated :’) and now she plays animal crossing so i help her with that. i’m glad i played zelda ii bc completion and the references are cool, but yeah it was just like, too hard in a not-fun way, but in that how-did-that-even-hit-me way lol. i don’t play very “hard” games tbh (maybe hollow knight? idk if people find that hard), but with most newer games the difficulty is intentional and not caused by the engine being weird (cough super mario sunshine). i like that nintendo games are so accessible, that you can decide whether to take on additional challenges or not

If it was about making clear they were just infected they should have altered the first and fourth boss too, but they didn’t. I do remember people saying Goht and Gyorg were very difficult and with the time limit it was a bit of a hard task. Their dungeons weren’t the easiest either, especially the water temple was a maze. But the original battles were so much more fun because they were hard, so I’m still bitter. Also, nostalgia. (3/5)

i think that’s fair, to me the boss battles didn’t leave that much of an impression, but if i had grown up with mm i’d probably notice the difference. like, i get why they didn’t actually render all the friend areas in the new pokemon mystery dungeon remake, but for me i remember being little playing it and i loved going through the actual camps seeing my teammates. so just having a menu feels like a letdown. nostalgia’s a valid reasoning tool imo and it is weird that they didn’t change the first and fourth bosses

Honestly, I would hate for LoZ to go actually realistic. While I love the way the FFVII remake looks I can’t imagine LoZ like that. But if it’s Zelda I’ll play anything once no matter how ugly I think it is. Nintendo doesn’t seem to have any plans for a new console yet so we might be in luck. Personally I’d rather have SS or the Oracle games rather than TP but they do love TP the most. It’s already been released for three consoles so what’s one more, right? (4/5)

honestly same. i know some people really want it, but for me hyrule warriors is abt as “realistic” as i want zelda to look (and i thought the twilight realms looked really cool in that game. i’d just make them slightly less colorful for an actual tp remake). i’d like it if nintendo focused on remakes for a while during this pandemic... i could be wrong but i’d think remakes are less work than a brand new game from scratch. ss and the oracle games are so underappreciated :’( idk how they’d have to reconfigure the motion controls for ss but i’d love to see it in hd. and the oracle games could be combined somehow... we’ll see. that one picture of mario in shorts eating a watermelon made everyone jump to sunshine remake, we’re all so desperate lmao

For BotW, I do hope it won’t be the whole game with Link and Zelda. Part of the ‘epicness’ of the games for me comes from the whole doing it alone. I’d love for the dragons to play a bigger part, of even for their existence to be explained. Ganon looks a lot like the WW zombies though, and those are even worse than the OoT ones. So I’d really rather not. But yeah, pulling whatever he is now from wherever he is now will probably involve loads of redeads. Woe is me. - Pokenon (5/5)

agreed! i still really want playable zelda, and i’m mainly a zelink fan lol so i like seein em together, but having zelda around the whole time would kind of kill the vibe bc every two seconds i’d be like “look at how cute she is!!” so i’m curious how it’ll play out. i’d like to see parts of the game with them together bc the only other game that did that was spirit tracks (also underrated...), but i feel like they’ll be separated somehow. i definitely wanna see more of the dragons. and tbh it does seem like we’ll be getting some undead action, i’m sorry. u can do it, i believe in u

HOW THEY ARE WHEN THEY’RE SICK: Daisy can get very grumpy, quite unlike her general mannerisms. But Luigi, sweetheart that he is, will spring into action to help her feel better, and not just with the family recipe of the spicy soup, but he’ll try to spruce up the place a little bit to make her feel better. Whenever Luigi is sick, Daisy is about the same way; she’ll drop anything to help Luigi feel better, and that includes a lot of recipes from around Sarasaland that are supposedly really good for various sicknesses.

WHO GETS JEALOUS EASIEST: Neither lol they don’t really have eyes for anyone else. I headcanon that Luigi fell in love with Daisy practically at first sight soooooooo

WHO COLLECTS SOMETHING UNUSUAL: Probably Luigi…don’t know what he would collect, though. Maybe something having to do with all of his ghost adventures?

WHO IS THE TIDIEST AND ORGANIZED: Probably Daisy.

WHO GETS MOST EXCITED ABOUT THE HOLIDAYS: Oh boy, LUIGI. He’s so excited about Christmas. Right after Thanksgiving is when he starts planning decorations and which recipes to prepare when it comes around. Same goes with Thanksgiving food, and I could say the same thing for food for Halloween parties. Costumes, too. Again, like I mentioned with the previous ask about Mario and Peach, Mario and Luigi know how to put on a good party. (Again, there’s an entire spin-off in the Mario-verse that justifies this…)

WHO IS THE BIG SPOON/LITTLE SPOON: They switch lmao

WHO GETS MOST COMPETITIVE WHEN PLAYING GAMES AND/OR SPORTS: Hoo boy, totally Daisy…that’s not even a question my dude

WHO STARTS THE MOST ARGUMENTS: These dudes don’t fight; Luigi doesn’t want to start anything, and Daisy doesn’t want to set Luigi off. They’ll probably get super worried about each other, though, so they will have to talk some stuff through, but no actual fights…

WHAT ARE THEIR NICKNAMES FOR EACH OTHER: Apart from Mario and a few other close friends, Daisy is the only person Luigi is okay with calling him “Weegee”. With Daisy, Luigi sticks with the really cute Italian nicknames like “cara” or “fior” or “bella”. And even then, he blushes like crazy whenever he calls her either one of those things.

WHO SUGGESTS THAT THEY BUY A PET: Luigi already has Polterpup lol they don’t need to suggest anything

WHAT COUPLE TRADITIONS DO THEY HAVE: Well, since their relationship is fairly long-distance, so they try to Skype once or twice a month. But whenever they’re together in the same place, they always, ALWAYS try to go on a date.

WHAT TV SHOWS THEY WATCH TOGETHER: “Parks and Rec”, “Galavant”, “Brooklyn Nine Nine”, maybe “Glee”? And maybe some cartoons like “Steven Universe” or “Over the Garden Wall”.

ANOTHER COUPLE THEY HANG OUT WITH: Mario and Peach, definitely.

HOW THEY SPEND TIME TOGETHER AS A COUPLE: Well, they’re already super cute when they’re messaging each other long-distance, but when they’re in the same place, they’re pretty much almost always together, and their cuteness is only amplified when they’re with each other. Aside from that, they’ll do competitive stuff like sports together, but they’ll also do other cute stuff like dance together??? (Tango Tanglers, anyone?)

WHO MADE THE FIRST MOVE: If you’ve ever read my fic “See You Again”, you’ll notice that it’s actually Luigi! He’s kinda shy about it, but he manages to get a word in. See, what goes down is that he meets her just outside of Peach’s castle one day and after introducing themselves to each other they kinda just talk and end up walking through town until sunset. When they get back to Peach’s castle and Daisy is just about to walk back in, he asks her if he’ll ever see her again. (She says she hopes so.)

WHO BRINGS FLOWERS HOME: Both of them! Daisy has to have a natural green thumb, so she must be good with arranging flowers and taking care of them. Luigi brings them home because he knows Daisy will enjoy them. (He mostly brings back…well, daisies.)

WHO IS THE BEST COOK: Absolutely, positively Luigi. As I mentioned in the previous ask, Mario and Luigi are no fools when it comes to food because their parents taught them how to cook at an early age. With that much experience under their belts, they’ve learned to become really good cooks.

WHO SNORES: Luigi lol
