I used to hate "survival movies" until I came across this. Forget the garbage that are Hunger Games, The Maze runner or Divergent, THIS IS THE MOTHER OF THIS GENRE, and you will never find one that is so twisted, creative and brilliant. I LOVE LOVE LOVE battle Royale. I like to pretend that the second one never happened though, it isn't as good as this and it would have been much better to end the story at the first chapter.

Hunger games was the unflavored, unseasoned version of BR, nobody can imitate Japanese style, their weirdness, gore and surreality.
