THIS MESS IS MINE: This is an ex-fiancee connection. It took years, maybe even decades for him to become open to the idea of marriage, but this was important for the both of them. He’d learned vulnerability through the softness on the worst days, the one weak spot he’d allowed himself to keep, a beautiful achilles heel with a heartbeat. The problem was, that he never learned to allow this to change him entirely. He would always be savage, dangerous in a way that became too much to bear for his would be beau. It wasn’t however, enough for him to lose this light, it had to hurt. After all, he’d been inflicting the same pain for centuries. So, his fiancee faked his death, running as far away from Vihaan, and effectively breaking him a way he hadn’t ever been before. He still carries the ring, a ring he’d fashioned from his own dragon scales, on a chain around his neck to remind him - some days of what he had lost, and other’s of why he would never lose it again. 

I PUT A SPELL ON YOU ft. CITALI IKKANS: Citali didn’t lose her eye, she gave it to her brother to even the score. This is one of his biggest regrets, and it’s a nasty scar that remains open the longer that she’s left in the disfgured state they’ve both learned to love. The only thing he wants now is to find a way to give that back to her, to make her whole again despite the fact that it was love that had taken this from both of them. A magic user who is willing to help him get his sister an eye, never knowing - or maybe full aware - that it was already taken care of. 

EAT YOU ALIVE ft. FRANCESA ROSS: As half of the council responsible for the Dragon species in town, he has a duty to them whether he likes it or not. Thankfully, this is one of the things he does actually love - his people, for better or worse. He was the one who identified what had happened to Frankie when she was returned from her last sponsor, and he’s also the one that vows to take revenge in her name, one way or another. This will probably somehow involve Alex at some point, and it’s gonna be...messy.

MISSED MY CHANCES: Simply put? A rescue who had somehow managed to cement their place with Vihaan, only to be snatched away before he could make his move, making things official. A stolen chance, and now, it was hard for them to be anything more than dead to him - seeing a betrayal that may have never been there, but it’s certainly felt. Homeboy’s got trust issues, surprise.

THAT’S THE PRICE YOU PAY: Dragon’s blood is said to be used for only the most powerful of rituals, the worst of the magic that still remained out there. Seeing as how they were hunted to almost extinction, this is hardly a power most know anymore - but they did. Vihaan deals in favors at the very least, and after some convincing, he agreed to hand his blood over. Granted, he was given a story - a tall tale about what would be done with it. Had they told him they planned to use the blood on themselves, and mistakenly anchored him to them for the time being, he would have never agreed. Oh, and they obviously owe him a big favor - he always intends to cash in, but now it’s going to be far more precious, especially as they discover the accidental tie.
