i called it. i fucking called it. joe was obsessed with rhys. joe was obsessed with the idea that he could be like him. that he can be him. he was completely infatuated and i hated that we didn’t get to see more of that because of how stuck he was with kate. but rhys has been the most “influential”, in a sense, out of all the people he’s have a crazy obsession over. this could either be for two reasons, either because his mental health was already on the decline, or simply because he was obsessed with the idea that rhys and him could have had this connection.

i mean, come on. the lines they were telling each other (albeit rhys being fake), it was so fucking sus. we know what you are, joe. rhys’ dialogue was essentially all of joe’s. joe has got some explaining to do. anyway, throughout the whole season, despite rhys not being real, he has made himself believe that they’re this murderous duo that needs to do whatever they can in order to keep their motives: marienne and kate. this, of course, comes at the cost of the real rhys. because unless joe does something about his issue w women, joe and rhys could have never had anything (💔).

So many thoughts about the YOU season 3 finale and the whole show in general. SPOILERS

Regardless of everything, Joe and Love are a comedic duo. They are so hilarious together especially when their daily routine includes murder. The level of hypocrisy Joe reaches time and time again is crazy and make me angrier every one of those times. I'm sorry but it's so hard to hate Love. Drop dead gorgeous (pun intended) Although I get so frustrated at every impulsive move she makes. It makes my blood boil. She does get better through the season but still. Marienne kept winning and I have no complaints about her. Sherry and Carry also were entertaining to watch. Baby Henry is perfect as always. Bless his soul.

At the end, I was perplexed by how emotionless Joe was about Love dying. I mean he did kill her but God I miss her. I guess I should have seen his lack of regret coming but Idk. Love will be missed. He is in Paris now though. What could go wrong?
