Malayan Tigers may mate year-round, but the females attain estrus between November and March. A female Malayan Tiger's gestation period ranges between 100 and 105 days, after which a litter of 3 to 4 cubs are born. However, poaching and unsustainable development in the tiger's natural habitat have disrupted the natural reproduction cycle of the Malayan Tigers.
