Predstavljen program Čačka Nacionalne prestonice kulture 2023. godine  -  ČAČANSKA RODNA
„Čačanska Rodna“ slogan je grada Čačka koji je proglašen Nacionalnom prestonicom kulture 2023. godine.  Predstavljanje najznačajnihih delova programa 2023. godine, koji uključuju novu infrastrukturu i gradske kulturne celine, održano je 12. decembra 2022. u Kulturnom centru Čačka uz prisustvo brojnih predstavnika medija i ličnosti iz kulturnog života Srbije. Okupljenima su se obratili Maja Gojković, potpredsednica vlade i ministarka kulture u Vladi Srbije i Milun Todorović, gradonačelnik Čačka.
„Titula prve nacionalne prestonice kulture istovremeno je priznanje, koje podstiče i jedinstvena prilika za Čačak da entuzijazmom, vizijom i ozbiljnim ulaganjima, napravi suštinski iskorak i bude prepoznat kao nacionalni centar razvoja kulture“, naglasila je ministarka kulture. „Grad pod Jelicom proslavili su Nadežda Petrović, Vladislav Petković Dis, Branko V. Radičević, ali i muzičari Bora Đorđević i Radomir Mihailović Točak, glumica Sonja Savić i mnogi drugi. To je mesto u kome se prepliću tradicionalno i moderno. On je i grad košarke, koji je oduvek bio svoj i poseban, i pre svega otvoren prema svima. Uverena sam da će i u 2023. godini biti dobar domaćin i da ćemo zajedno slaviti kulturu i promovisati ono najbolje što Čačak ima“, poručila je ministarka kulture.
Gradonačelnik Čačka, Milun Todorović,  poželeo je svima dobrodošlicu i naglasio: “Sledeća godina je 175 godina od prvog čitalaštva u našem gradu, 75 godina  od osnivanja kompanije ‘Sloboda’, 60 godina ‘Disovog proleća’, 50 godina od početka izlaska važnog časopisa ‘Gradac’, 30 godina od Otvorene knjige Balkana, zatim su tu ‘Krug’,  ‘Umetnost i papir’, sve ono što se baštinilo vekovima i decenijama rekao bih da se implementira i unapređuje u narednoj 2023. godini. Sve ono što su naši prethodnici radili i uradili  na nama je da unapredimo, da napravimo postojeće manifestacije važnijim, bitnijim, vidljivijim, a nove mlade talente da podržimo i da im pružimo vetar u leđa i oslonac”.
Idejni koncept „Čačanske Rodne“ zasniva se na vrednostima koje čine ljudi Čačka koji su kroz istoriju formirali kulturni profil grada, mnogobrojnim ličnostima koje su rođenjem, životom i stvaranjem vezane za Čačak. „Čačanska Rodna”  tokom 2023. godine biće predstavljena  kroz četiri podteme koje zajedno stvaraju  jednu celinu, tj. sublimiraju kulturni profil grada: „Na Slobodi”, „Na Moravi“, Na raskršću“, „Na kaldrmi”. Svaka od njih na osoben način prikazuje najvažnije elemente tekuće kulturne produkcije, ali i bogatstvo nacionalne i zavičajne baštine.
Slogan prestonice, „Čačanska Rodna“,  inspirisan je imenom posebne sorte  šljive koja je nadaleko prepoznatljiv čačanski poljoprivredni proizvod nastao  u Institutu za voćarstvo Čačka.  Kroz ovaj moto predočena je ideja celog projekta – vizija Grada Čačka kao vekovnog plodnog (rodnog) tla za razvoj kulture, umetnosti, duhovnosti, ali i nauke, privrede, turizma, sporta...
Nosioci projekta “Čačanske Rodne“ su ustanove kulture Grada Čačka: Dom kulture odnosno Kulturni Centar Čačka, Umetnička galerija „ Nadežda Petrović “, Narodni muzej, Gradska biblioteka „Vladislav Petković Dis “, Međuopštinski istorijski Arhiv, Gradsko pozorište, kao i brojna udruženja.
Prestonica kulture Srbije jedan je od najznačajnijih projekata koje je pokrenulo Ministarstvo kulture i informisanja uz podršku Vlade Republike Srbije.
