1. what are the basics of your self insert? name, date of birth, height, etc.?
name: chryseis diana persephone solstice-eclipse but she doesn’t frequently give the whole name out because eurrghh. “fake” names she gives out to throw ppl off her track include “diane”, “di”, and “kitty”. what? those could feasibly all be her nicknames… never mind that no one calls her that.
date of birth: oct. 13th, year ???????????. age: one year younger than jacks, that’s for sure.
height: 5’1, but 5’3 on days she’s wearing heels 😌
family: an older sister and brother, both stars, and whatever the fuck she’s got going with the fates
gender&sexuality: stargirl :)) and straight, but she gets fluid whenever azure’s born female
6. does your self insert have any pets?
yesssss she has three cats (and tacks on a fourth after a failed attempt to kill eris. azure’s not sure when a cat snuck into the ballroom, but it’s theirs now, i guess!!). one of them WAS named catster, but after castor, i feel it’s too close of a name. i’m sorry, catster :((

I like to think that eventually everyone who knows Jacks has some reason or other to have punched him. It becomes a guessing game of who’s gonna punch Jacks next. Pleck is the only one who never gets any votes (he doesn’t wanna punch Jacks!! They’re buddies!!!) but I’d like to think he gets a shot at some point as well like there are some extenuating circumstances where it happens gusibfsb
situation where pleck NEEDS to punch jacks to stay undercover + he punches jacks waaaaay harder than he thought he would. agonizing.
anyway, yes, jacks is extremely punchable. he inspires rage in even the most placid people.

By the time she was looking in its direction again–this time with the gun aiming for its head–it was nearly on top of her already, halfway across the clearing, en route to her crumpled body. She shot once, then twice.
It fell in a wounded heap, a foot away from her boots and staggering with an aggravated wine that seemed to echo off the snow. She shot without thinking, without uttering a single sound. In five more shots the creature was dead, leaving her with a dead werewolf, and, most likely, ever-worsening frostbite.
Move move move!
But she didn’t want to move. She wanted to sit, breathing in and out until she woke up in her bed. Until she realized all this was a horrible dream. Still, the adrenaline and ice-burns stirred her to motion.
She stumbled trying to stand, finding it frighteningly difficult to move her left side, before eventually righting herself and walking stiffly towards a break in the trees.
“Bring her back!” Jacks screamed. He didn’t care about the consequences of yelling at a Star. “I didn’t want this! I didn’t mean this!”
Eris retracted the heart. Her expression fell away to something unreadable, with a studious arch of her silver brow.
“Stars don’t work that way, Archer. I fulfilled our deal. You must make a new one if you want to get anything more.”
“But—!” He wanted to hyperventilate.
He’d killed Azure for Chrysi’s heart. He’d killed Azure to kill Chrysi.

It took a moment for Filly to speak, and even still she didn’t look away from the stained glass above the preacher's lectern. “I thought vampires couldn’t enter churches.”
There was no bite to her words, but there was no humor either. It made it difficult for him to guess what she was thinking.
“The elders couldn’t.” He said.
Finally, she spared him a glance, though she didn’t move from her leaned back, arms-crossed position. “Why can you?”
He heaved a heavy, synthetic sigh, and leaned back, crossing the higher set of arms. “I converted.”
That got something of a reaction out of her, at least. She turned her head towards him, her left brow arched with a kind of jaded curiosity. Instead of elaborating, he broke into an impish grin. Made you look, he said without words. She rolled her eyes, standing from the cushioned seat and making her way to the aisle.
Jacks fell quiet.
Chryseis turned to see him looking morosely at the comb in his fingers—no, on his fingers themselves. On the way they gripped the comb.
In this, his death betrayed him; all color had long since bled away from his knuckles, his fingertips, his palms. His hands looked as pale as the skeleton underneath them.
“Is…” He paused, then forged on. “This other—was he the reason you became a Fate?”
She froze once more.
Then—she didn’t know why; maybe the gentle tone from Jacks, or perhaps that he was dead anyway, and thus unable to tell any one—she told him the truth.
Pinning him down with a long stare, Chryseis replied, “I am not a Fate.”
She only caught a glimpse of his eyes widening before she awoke.

ChrysiJacks office au. They work in an office. Chrysi is promoted to oversee Jacks’s department which is just him and Simeon, who needs little to no management in the first place. Chrysi is basically in charge of babysitting Jacks now. They are bickering they are fighting they are making out on the copier when everyone goes home
i always jst think of the severance au… chrysijacks making out over the copier in one of the abandoned horror rooms in the basement office <3333 azure walks in on them and is like hmmm. don’t know why i feel jealous when i’m literally jst a therapist. now break it up.
chrysi literally has to sit on the edge of jacks’s desk to get him to get any work down. she’s staring him down the entire time. he gets the point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stop shooting him w your laser eyes!!!!!!! simeon’s jst glad he doesn’t have to deal w this anymore.
this said. counterpoint to this au: chrysi works in an office (for.. well you know me, she’s working on supernatural reports), and jacks was forced to get a job as the barista in the coffee shop across the street. romance ensues, but mostly jacks fucks up chrysi’s drink every time and chrysi’s like MAN, IT’S TWO INGREDIENTS, HOW ARE YOU THIS BAD.

Where does ChrysiJacks stand on love letters? 030 who is writing to whom and whose letters are more romantic?
tbh, i don’t think that they’re rlly love letter type ppl… jacks would rather leave a little gift for chrysi to show his feelings rather than a love letter (too real + chrysi will tease him abt it..), and chrysi would rather leave a little doodle than an official letter. oftentimes the doodles aren’t very nice, too, but like. she loves him, i guess. sorta.
jacks is more likely to write a love letter, but mostly in a situation where he’s not in his right mind (drunk, cursed, dealing with the ex-vampire sleepies),which makes the letter even more embarrassing. sorry, jacky, but chrysi WILL be putting this up in the house somewhere. it’s funny and cute!!!!
if chrysi were to write a love letter, it would b. mean. very mean. jacks loves her so much for it.

Dead poets society au with the trio 👀👀 who dies??
oh god, okay, so my initial obvious answer was chrysi.
but ummmmm, okay. i’ve hurt myself after i thought abt it for longer than five seconds, sooo—
jacks is roommates w azure at this new fancy school. awesome. great. he thinks azure is stuck up and annoying.
also azure has a girlfriend and jacks dislikes seeing them interact together (making welton a co-ed campus, babey!!!)
but then they’ve got a sick cool awesome english teacher and he realizes he likes poetry. you know, the uplifting bit of this story.
between their new english teacher + chrysi, azure picks up photography a bit more seriously
also it was chrysi’s idea for the dead poets society altogether—jacks was the one to back her up and help convince azure to join. no, jacks was not particularly close with either of them at this time. he doesn’t know what compelled him to want this club bad enough to go to azure court for it
azure puts up his photographs for multiple contests at this time + i think jacks would maybe start feeling less weird abt designing clothes (making him a fashion designer because i WANT TO)… chrysi’s always been a bit wild and crazy and free <33
also they’re acting up and getting in trouble at school
(they DO have other members in their club btw but focusing on the trio rn!!)
anyway, azure ends up being able to take part in an exhibition of his photographs (you see where this is going…?)
azure’s dad finds out abt azure’s foray into professional photography
oh no.

he wants to apologize to chrysi first. he doesn’t tell her anything beforehand though.
he just couldn’t handle it anymore.
he’s sorry.
he’s gone.
jacks wakes up to chrysi in their room, crying.

azures gone. he’s no longer there anymore. why did he leave them behind? how could he do that to them?
chrysi and jacks aren’t allowed to go to the funeral. chrysi wants to die too. she doesn’t though, because jacks won’t let her.
(she’s not letting him do the same)
in the end, they’re bonded. they don’t have their third part of their trio, but they won’t break up the two that remain.

Gimme two versions of ChrysiJacks Halloween plans; one where they’re allowed to have nice plans and nothing bad happens 💖 and one where everything goes horribly wrong! Best of both worlds really :)
nice plans: they jst watch horror movies and split a candy apple <333 maybe pet their kitties <333 they aren’t big on parties (well, correction: chrysi isn’t big on parties, and jacks agrees bc he gets soooo many kisses when he does), but if emery decides she wants to throw one, they’ll decorate for it and get pizzas and set up a bunch of horror movies on the tv and get candies for all emery’s friends (blood for luc, obvi). then they hang out and chill while all the kids mingle. look at them!!!! they’re chaperoning!!! look at how normal their lives are now!!!!
bad plans: they have that friendly little get together, but then. murder party time. and also they’re stuck in a time loop where chrysi keeps dying and jacks is like PLEASE I KST WANT MY WIFE BACK. I LOVE HER :((( also the whole “becoming their halloween costumes” thing sucked sooo bad for chrysi. she hates the spin-off version of jacks SO MUCH. killing stabbing bitebitebte her husband!!!!!
