so looking back on it I wasn't expecting how far into orbit this mission would send my sides from laughing so hard

It is slightly disappointing that they crammed in both the Build Team's relationships with their respective humans, as well as the Kagero/Shadow-maru arc, into one mission which ruins some of the impact there. But I also understand this is a MASSIVE crossover game and they have a lot of ground to cover and introduce each series, and the units/characters, as well as bind them all with an overarching plot.

Navia makes peace with Neuv, the weather clears, and I'm now on my way to the next Act! Also, my theory:
The plot seems to be heavily hinting that the Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale actually is self-aware, as Neuv suspects, and it called out to Lyney during his stealth mission who panicked and noped the fuck out. So I think it needed to dial it up a notch and purposefully gave Childe a guilty verdict, because it needs something (like help, perhaps?) and throwing that curveball was the best way to get attention from some of the most powerful and brightest minds in Fontaine. Or, maybe it knows the "business" that Childe is up to and needed him out of the picture. Because as he well knows, it has never returned a different judgement than Neuv's own.

I knew a handful of spoilers going in to Fontaine so I know a little bit of the disk horse with how your character treats Lyney/Lynette and it was just as obnoxious as I expected (more on that later)

Paimon's face here actually made me like her for the briefest of moments ("this dumbass is fucking around and is gonna find out")
like we're buddy-buddy friendly with THIS asshole (affectionate, ilu 'Tag) and even though I hear they sanitized the fuck out of him in limited events that I have unfortunately missed, and he regretted his actions after, but Tartaglia STILL released an Old God who was going to destroy an entire city of innocent people

I was still processing someone literally going splat like holy shit
damn Furina has no chill when you first meet her in the Archon Quest and it's actually infuriating lmao, I liked her a lot more in the Roses & Muskets event
the reveal they're with the House of the Hearth made me so mad
it boggles me how awful our protags treated the twins who were literally orphans at the time, AND WE ARE APPARENTLY FRIENDS WITH THE FUCKING ELEVENTH FATUI HARBINGER TARTAGLIA, as if they had a choice in the savior that came to their rescue.
like holy fucking shit did they come out of a bad situation
honestly I find the Traveler just as annoying as Paimon at times but shoddy writing can't be helped
anyway /kicks soapbox >:( playing attorney was fun! and my friends are enjoying seeing me suffer when my braincell vibrates and I connect the dots!

another hot take: I do Not like Ei and it fucking ANNOYS me how you're expected to agree with treating the Shogun as something subhuman and Ei is now your ~bestest fwend ever~
She made two wholeass persons and one was thrown in the garbage while the other seems to be having a crisis due to not being able to act on her programming, it would be less worrying if the Shogun didn't have her own personality that's very obviously separate from Ei
they crossed the line from being "just AI" when the Shogun seemed actually distressed when you meet her at the start of the Story quest, because she can't do the thing she was specifically made to do
I am a very strong empathizer of artificial characters ok fite me
anyway I finished the quests that cleared out the storms on the islands in Inazuma and then completed the quest for... this place.
hell time was cool tho I wanted that one to stay
I had 20 spare Fates from my Itto Fund so I decided to pull on Ayato's banner and he literally decided to fall into my lap, first 5-star pull get!
And now finally, Sumeru.
