part 3; considering we all know ardyn absorbed the scourge from countless people n became kind of a 'cage' for the scourge for a long time he became the scourge itself, that is why noctis should kill him to banish the darkness forever. Logically, with that, we can assume that ardyn can infect people with the scourge if he want to. But since ardyn died in the end, the scourge disappear and the bros survive? well, if they survive, since its an open ending that they live or not. what do you think?

Second - goodness, don’t be shy! I love getting messages and comments soooo much!! Also I am much more used to the idea of having stalkers than I am that of having fans. Go figure :P It’s nice having you here either way~!

I love the idea of Ardyn being able to actually infect people. We don’t get that in canon really since all we know is that he can absorb daemons and presumably spit them out somehow (I would give so much to see Ardyn releasing daemons from within himself ;_; Assuming it wouldn’t be just plain disgusting lol, but I somehow imagine it looks badass :B) He might’ve just explained the scourge to Niflheim scientists so they’d know to infect people with the parasite thing. But damn, the image of him touching someone and the Scourge just spreading to them is kinda awesome :B 

About the guys living, well, it depends on what they presumably would’ve died from. If they were infected and dying from the Scourge, then sure, it disappearing would save them. But I think the assumption there is that IF they died, it was being chopped into pieces by Iron GIants. Of course the Giants and other daemons disappeared when the Dawn came, so the question is whether the boys managed to survive until then. 

Also, a sidenote but your message reminded me of it - I lovelovelovelove that short moment when Iedolas tells Ardyn to ‘dispose of the daemons’ in Kingsglaive. From the game we now know it presumably means absorbing them into himself, something that can’t be fun or nice… And there’s this second there where you can see him bracing for it and I live for that bit ;_;
