I've never written with a Shannon before yours and let me tell you something about Hale Lancaster. Harley has had lots of entanglements. A few meaningful ships. No ship ever taught Harley as much as her ship with Hale. She got him, loved him, and lost in before everything got all scrambled with them. It was with Hale that I figured out Harley substitutes physical affection for love and without the physical things, she's lost because she thinks it mean she's not worth anything. It was with Hale that I figured out she can learn patience.

Then she fucked up and got left behind. We kind of patched them back up but they weren't the way they used to be. Even though Paris!Harley will forever love the shit out of Paris!Hale. Even if he's not with her. BUT NOW we have them in this whole knew AU and honestly, it was the best thing for them considering this version of Harley takes no shit from anyone but knows what she wants. AND SHE'S A MOM. Don't take me there because I will weep.
