Wir haben zum Jahreswechsel die erste Kampagne „Knochen von Arnor“ aus „Der Herr der Ringe – Reise durch Mittelerde“ mit etwas über 25 Stunden Spielzeit erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Das „Herr der Ringe“-Universum bietet unglaublich viel Platz für Storys, die Kampagne ist wirklich gut geschrieben. Spieltechnisch waren wir, nachdem es unsere erste Kampagne war, als „Abenteurer“ unterwegs. Das ist der leichteste Schwierigkeitsgrad. Wir wollten einfach alles kennenlernen und entdecken. Allerdings gab es Missionen bzw. einzelne Passagen in ebendiesen, die schon fast langweilig waren. Die nächste Kampagne spielen wir definitiv im Schwirigkeitsgrad normal. Uns hat das Deckbuilding mit den unterschiedlichen Klassen gut gefallen. Man kann durchaus interessante Kombis haben, die auch mächtig werden können. Helden haben wir erst zwei gespielt, da man diese während einer Kampagne nicht tauschen kann. Durch die vielen Erweiterungen und DLCs haben wir weitere 5 Kampagnen vor uns und sind gespannt, wie sich diese entwickelt haben. Hier wurde wohl mit jeder Erweiterung auch etwas an der App-Mechanik geschraubt. Die App funktioniert übrigens sehr gut und bietet eine tolle musikalische Untermalung. Ich habe alle Papp-Tiles für das Gelände auf Schlachtfeldern durch 3-D-Modelle ersetzt. Finde ich deutlich schöner, auch wenn man diese nicht so häufig benötigt. Die Farbe fehlt, aber das ist ja erst der Anfang eines weiteren Projektes. Wir haben mit „Herr der Ringe: Reise durch Mittelerde“ begonnen. Hier gibt es diverse Pappteile für Felsen, Fässer, Tische, Mauern, Statuen, Lagerfeuer usw. Ich habe gedacht, ich mache ein schnelles Zwischenprojekt, drucke mir ein paar Landschaftselemente und bemale die dann. Der Druck ist durch, einige Teile sind grundiert, und sobald ich Zeit habe, kommt Farbe drauf. Das Ergebnis zeige ich natürlich hier. Ihr seid gefragt: Lieber Pappe oder doch 3D-Modell? Was bevorzugt ihr? Die Modelle sind übrigens wieder von Thingiverse, Thing „3618198“ von „DarkDudae“. There are various cardboard parts for rocks, barrels, tables, walls, statues, campfires, etc. I thought I'd do a quick interim project, print out some landscape elements and then paint them.
