Buck's parenting arc is great but i feel like if it has nothing to do with Christopher than it's kind of pointless? Buck already is a dad, he has a son, and I *need* Buck to remember that, and for the show to remember their relationship.

Thrice Upon A Time

Hey y’all, just me posting at the most inopportune time, as usual. Since I don’t know how to social media. This is a commission I wrote for the loml @daddybunchacrunch THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMMISSIONING ME! <3

Exhausted.

That was the only word to describe your current state. Working near full time, as well as putting yourself through school. It was enough to push anyone to insanity and you were almost there. You threw your bag across the room and flopped face down on the couch. It was finally the weekend. No school, you didn't have any shifts at work for once. Your handsome boyfriend promised you a date, and you didn't have to worry about going to bed. However, your eyelids were very much looking for a nap.

You rolled yourself over and lazily pulled the throw blanket from the back of the couch over your drained body. Your eyes were closed gently and you were almost at that sweet, sweet rem. You heard a small, jingling. Keys? Was someone at the door? It didn't matter, you were at the gates of sleep cycle heaven, when the front door was ferociously kicked open.

"Let the weekend, begin!"

Your eyes shot open like big metal doors and the first thing you see was a human being, catapulting above you, perfectly landing in the armchair next to the sofa.

"Let's go, babe! I've got snacks!"

"Chips and soda...?" Your response was groggy and less than enthusiastic.

"Not a chance! Those aren't snacks. Those are vital nutrients for fueling!! For snacks, we got ice cream, we got candy, we got hummus, we got grapes, seedless!"

He was too quick. He moved like a cheetah. His flame red hair zipping around the room, his colored glasses a streak of blur. Quickly putting things away in the cabinet. Your eyes began to close again on their own accord.

Sweet rem, I'm coming for you again. That's all you could think of until once again, your boyfriend felt like you had other things to attend to. He laid himself on top of you, holding himself up with his hands beside your head. He began peppering kisses all over your face. A peck on the cheek, the chin, the tip of your nose, your forehead, half of your lips, a bottom lip, an eyelid, an ear.

His affection didn't exactly remove your exhaust but it definitely brightened up your mood. A stifled giggle eventually escaped your lips.

"Hahaha, Saeyoung, come on. Get off."

He looked at you with half lidded eyes, a smirk on his lips and one eyebrow raised in intrigue.

"Well if you insist." He swooped down and began to lightly suck on your neck. Playfully you began to push him off of you, not hating the sensation he was making you feel in the moment.

"Saeyoung Choi, that's not what I meant."

He began to laugh and took one more little nibble at your ear.

"Okay, okay. What's the matter? My tech queen, my machine princess, my computer bride."

"You know all of those make me sound like some kind of AI, right?"

Still hovering above you his expression turned into one of perplexity.

"Damn...you're right."

Before you could respond the tiniest yawn escaped your lips. Saeyoung examined every feature of your face. He was very perceptive after all. Once his mind was cleared of junk food, sex, and memes.

He noticed that your eyes weren't as bright as normal, you had formed small bags underneath. Your complexion was a bit off and you didn't have much color in your cheeks.

"Alright, that's it. Let's get you to bed."

As swift as ever, Saeyoung grabbed the blanket off of you and wrapped it around his neck, having it flow like a cape. You didn't understand how he was making it wave in a non existent breeze.

"Saeyoung...now I'm cold." Your beau threw up a hand to silence you.

"FEAR NOT BEAUTIFUL CITIZEN! I WILL RETURN YOU TO THE LAND OF DREAMS. YOU ARE FAR TOO WORN OUT TO STAY HERE IN METRO-GOD707!"

Lickety-split he scooped you up in a bridal carry and escorted you to the bedroom. Laying you down and removing his cape, returning it to it's original function as a blanket, draping it over you and tucking you in.

"Don't worry about a thing. I'm about to lay down a sick bed time story on your sweet ass." Saeyoung made his declaration and stood on the foot of the bed. "Once Upon a Time there was a powerful mage named Saeyoung. His powers were close to a gods. He wandered the land, shutting down maidens, far and wide. He was too much of a man for them to handle-"

"Nope. Stop. First, every time you move, I move. We don't have memory foam, babe." At your words he jumped off the bed onto the floor, arms crossed, face in a full blown pout. "Second, no. Too unrealistic. You're a lot easier to handle than you think, and also, Mage? Nono no no no. You are a thief class at best. Rogue, maybe."

Saeyoung flamboyantly pulled on the collar of his shirt.

"Yeesh...tough crowd." Playfully you stuck your tongue out at him and he returned the favor.

"Fine. Twice Upon a Time a fair maiden had been stowed away in the brig of a pirate ship. The captain was an evil black haired tyrant with a beautiful white furred, blue eyed, cat to rest upon his shoulder. He locked the fair maiden away despite the detests he received from the rest of his crew. Fortunately for this maiden, she was being sought after by the greatest pirate in the land. The number one pirate captain, who, unbeknownst to her, was on his way to free her from her shackles! Earning him a proper on the sea fuc-"

"Hey!" The word flew out of your mouth, slapping him back to reality. Jumping out of his Captain Morgan pose he looked at you with pleading eyes.

"Baaabe, what was wrong with that one?"

"It was making me queasy."

"Oh right, because you get sea-sick."

"Sure...let's go with that."

He began to pace back and forth. Your eyes began to shut again. Come to me sweet re-NOPE. Your boyfriend plopped himself right next to you on the bed. "Okay, I got it." He put an arm behind you and you snuggled up close resting your head on his chest.

"Thrice Upon a Time-" Hearing his intro you chuckled lightly. "There was a handsome young hacker. He was at his ropes end. He didn't know who he was, or what he was living for. He felt hopeless and alone. He wore many masks. He tricked those around him into thinking he was okay. More than okay. But each day he pretended his true self didn't exist, was killing him. Then a total hottie walked in to his life. I'm talking such a smoke show. Babe. F-I-N-E, fine! On top of being a total dime piece, she was kind. She was a shining light. Bringing hope to everyone around her. Laughing, smiling, pouting, everything about her could light up someones heart."

Your eyes were closed and you felt at piece, trying to hang on to hear the rest of the story, your breathing became shallow and very steady.

"For some reason she wanted to get close to our young hacker. She wanted to get to know him, to be around him. Show him the things he was missing. This scared the hacker. He figured he was dangerous and he would only drag her down the the lows that he had hit. He pushed her away, or tried as best he could. But the girl was stubborn. She refused to let him go. She taught him warmth. She taught him compassion. She taught him all the things he had avoided or neglected. The things he wasn't deserving of, she insisted he was."

Saeyoung looked down at you, your mouth slightly open, the tiniest bit of drool forming in the corner of your mouth. He gently placed a kiss on your forehead, slipping off of the bed to turn out the lights. He looked at you fast asleep on the bed before he was to return to the living room.

"And I am forever grateful. I fall more and more in love with you everyday. Thank you. Sweet dreams, my angel."
