4. which muse of yours is your all time favorite? if you stopped writing them: why?

Oh man, that’s hard. I love all my muses a lot and my “fave” kind of fluctuates with my mood and what I wanna write.
BUT, so far my mainstay face has been our awful Viktor Zsasz here. ✨ I’ve just been having so much fun with them every since heading back into RP, and people have made it so enjoyable, tossing their silly ass into plots I would never have thought to put them in. I love work hard to write things through their perspective (I’m a marshmallow), and enjoying the really interesting dynamics they’ve formed with people and how it affects their viewpoint. It’s been a blast so far and I think it’ll keep being one!
Shout outs though to my other current tumblr muses, one divine chaos dragon OC, a giant purple cat, and a very fresh new blog for some fucked up wizards from Jak & Daxter.
As for a muse I stopped playing? I had a lot of marvel muses, and some megaman/mmx muses long ago, but managed to land some unpleasant— to put it very lightly— communities for both that scared me off for years. I’ve started playing with Marvel again in controlled situations, but not megaman. I do miss my robots though.

I actually don’t think I’ve gotten this one before, or if I did I forgot answering it, so!!!
You know, I’m not sure what got the little bitch in there so hard when I first played the Arkham games, but boy he latched onto my single braincell and probably bit it. I think part of it was I didn’t actually know about him prior? I had seen him in I think Crimson Mist, one of the Batman Dracula books, but that’s so blink and you’ll miss it that I barely count it.
But yeah, I guess with him being the only rogue I didn’t recognize, I was like “oooh wtf are you, you’re one fucked up lil fella, scruffing you now let’s go”
So I started reading his appearances. He’s more of a mental threat villain, which I always enjoy a lot because it engages the detective part of Batman more. While he canonically can keep Batman on his toes for a pretty long while physically, he’s a talker first and foremost. He was based on Hannibal Lecter quite a bit from what I understand, though since he evolved from being a one-off monster of the week, that’s evolved, too.
But yeah, in his first appearance, he doesn’t fight until the very very end, he mostly talks. He gets in Batman’s head, gets in Jeremiah Arkham’s head, and uses it to pit them against each other so that he can scamper out and do murders while they’re busy. He thinks he’s doing good, he thinks killing people is helping them escape pain and nothingness. His whole philosophy is FUBAR, but it’s one of those things like the other rogues, you can at least see the path they took to get to that conclusion, even if you don’t endorse it in the slightest.
Also he’s an interesting foil for Batman in how to deal with loss, grief, and how it changes the way you interact with the world when you hold really hard onto it. Neither of them took what I would call the healthiest route in dealing with their emotions, but one is definitely WAY WORSE for sure. And it makes whenever they go on a “you’re more like me than you want to think about” speech more bitey. He broke the camel’s back on giving Batman an existential crisis once, it was great.
But then I got kinda frustrated that most writers stopped really using him as a talker-then-SURPRISE!STAB threat to Batman, and kinda used him as a background knife goon when they needed to pad the body count without hitting the big name rogues too soon. So I was like, “hmmmmmm oh no who left this here, mine now I guess :3 yoinkarooni and cheese” and now I’m just exploring this fucked up little creacher and making up all the other parts as I go.
Also Zsasz has this really funny habit of being interpreted SO DIFFERENTLY in media and ngl I kinda??? Love it??? From the OG Hannibalesque, to Gotham’s funky little goblin, Arkham’s dreamy-toned feral weirdo, BoP’s territorial hitman boyfriend. I pull bits and pieces from all of them for mine, but there’s a horrible hellbeast for every flavor, I guess?

Well, I am a simple creacher. I do art: digital is my main go-to, but I also do traditional media, specifically watercolor and pencil work. I have… WAY TOO MUCH PAINT, it’s a problem, I have impulse problems when I see palettes, WHOOPS. I should show some watercolor more here. I also do threadcraft, just cross-stitch for now, but I’m picking up sewing and embroidery, and I kiiiinda want to learn felting. Poking fluff repeatedly until it’s a cute animal sounds like a lot of fun.
I really like to listen to/watch documentaries a lot! Dinosaurs and death study/death positivity are my faves. Preservation of media and the recovery of lost media are like… a huge interest of mine, too. Especially video games and animation. :3 I also like those videos of abandoned places being explored? I dunno, I think I just am really fascinated by the things we leave behind as a concept.
COOKING AND BAKING. I love food, it’s really important to me. I had a very complicated relationship with food when I was younger, and part of me fixing it has been learning about food, food from different cultures, and trying out as many recipes as I can. I will try anything once! Also, I made some absurdly good cookies last night, actually, and I’m still riding the high of like picture perfect cookie creation at high altitude ✨💪
Some silly ones, I have an active pog collection (my favorites are the retro DC comics ones I have, still lookin for Zsasz tho), I still have my original furby from when I was a kid, I collect unusual earrings, and my brain goes brrrrr when I watch restoration videos.
As far as Viktor goes? Well, I’m trying to read more poetry than I used to because of them. :D I have it as a big interest of theirs, so I’m trying to buff up my own knowledge, and I think I veer to the abstract or darker tone poems because of them as a muse. Though I just am really liking reading poetry in general. And I’m also trying to learn some basic Hungarian! Is a very pretty language, but holy shit it’s definitely a tough one snfsgjsjgsk

What is your best lizard story ?

// one time at work, I was doing yard stuff. It was a little chilly outside because the clouds came out, so I went into the work shed to heat up.
All normal, all boring.
Until I look down and see A TINY LITTLE LIZARD JUST!!! SITTING ON MY KNEE!!!
I held VERY still because I didn’t want to scare him. Turns out he was just cold and must’ve hopped onto me from the shrubs. He snuggled up on my leg and started to nap totally relaxed because I was warm, and so me and this lizard just vibed together my whole lunch break. He would very lazily crack an eye open anytime I moved too much like “shhhh I’m eepy” then go right back to sleep.
When my break ended, the sun had come out, it was a little warmer, and he woke up very happy and warm and wiggly. He let me pick him up (a very delicate scoop so I wouldn’t accidentally hurt him) and gently put him back outside where he scuttled off to his rock totally fine. :3

Hmmmmmm, I guess… I really like how I focus on details and try to listen and pay attention and remember things people have said, despite my brain not always cooperating. I didn’t have a whole lot of people to listen to me when I was a kid, so I kinda want to try and be the person who listens when others need it. I think it’s a nice trait to have, even if it can be hard to balance sometimes.
