Look ok yakuzas really really queer but also I think it's on accident
#yakuza#lb#feel free to ignore guys an fyi my lb liveblog posts are random thoughts and shit lol#anyway on that note. yakuza qrites better women than nomura (sorry nomura hut u know once u make#someone designated love interest u fuck over their character)#however. this is certainly on accident. i think yakuza kinda writes women NOT good like. on purpose theyre kinda sexist#i imagine at some point they attempt to be less bad but they def have issues writing women#however. by miraculous accident. their women characters are still interesting and generally consistent#and a lot are lovable and interesting. which is more than most games this genre tbh#grand theft autos i played never gave me this. so like. its a low bar but yakuza does accidentallt manage to pass it#likewise like. i put up with nomura and yakuza may weaken women charactwrs in some arcs#but not as much as fucking nomura did with kairi. so i guess i also have high tolerance#literally all the hostess arcs in yakuza so far are fleshed out women slice of life stories#all more consistent and women driven than kairi got treated in kh :c#if i could tell nomura anything. it would be to write love interests as FULL CHARACTERS or stop q#writing love interest roles im begging him! he can write aqua fine! olette fine! xion fine!#but then kairi is soras other friend and instead of getting treated like axel. since she has a crush on sora#she gets used as hostage and scenes cut and training cut etc :/ nomura look in the mirror please.
