Tiny shipping pet peeve (not here to police anyone’s shipping preferences this is just a me thing) but man I dislike ships that are popular in a fandom where one of the characters in the pairing brutally and remorselessly kills or helps kill the other character in canon 😐

#bored badgering #like I get being able to work around it (I've certainly bent over backwards for ships)#but man #this is partially cause I've been seeing a lot of Sleek and Needle from WC shipping lately #(where to be fair Sleek only HELPED kill Needle with no remorse and it mostly Darktail doing the killing)#I GET THE APPEAL OF THESE TWO I REALLY DO #but in canon Sleek never liked Needle and was always kind of a jerk to her #like if you want bad bitches being bad together Sleek literally ran away paw in paw with a lady cat named Raven #let Sleek be evil and have an evil goth gf #like all that set me off but it also gives me war flashbacks to Feferi and Eridan shipping #which is similar to my dilemma with Needle and Sleek but 10000 times worse lol #cause he has a history of being really angry at her for not returning his romantic advances and harassing her and her new bf #who he also attacks #like yeah jack was manipulating him or w/e but he definitely zeroed in on those two to attack first before anyone #SORRY I HAD. THOUGHTS
