Resident Evil is a giant clusterfuck, and there's a lot of bad information being spread around the fandom right now, so don't be afraid to ask questions if you need help navigating.

#one of the weirdest bits of misinformation i've seen flying around is #people seem to be under the impression that leon is 'older' in infinite darkness??#ID takes place only a few months after RE4 ends #like less than six months #because president graham is still in office in ID #and he resigns before degeneration #which takes place a year after RE4 #so idk what the fuck is happening out there in the fandom sphere #but leon is 28 MAX in ID #depending on when his actual birthday is #(though i headcanon him as a leo so for me he'd still be 27 in ID)#it's fucking wild dude idk where ppl's information is coming from #though to be completely fair #i don't know why they set ID so far back in the timeline #like y'all need to understand that vendetta takes place 10 years after RE4 #and ID was released after vendetta was so i have NO IDEA why they did that #but then RE9 is going to likely take place 10 years after vendetta #so like #idk degeneration was already there i don't know why we needed to go all the way back there when there's HUGE GAPS OF TIME unaccounted for #but idk i just live here
