monolingual english speakers: my accent in [foreign] language is so bad :[
me, rolling up to speak spanish with the worst accent you’ve ever heard:
#i cannot roll my Rs . i struggle with ‘ll’ pronunciations . no matter how comfortable i am with grammar and syntax#it is incredibly obvious spanish is a foreign language for me . do u think that stops me from speaking it ?
