I remember watching death note way back in 2011 or some time around when I got into anime, and I wasn’t on social media during the time so I just assumed death note was just your average kinda anime, like fruits basket or Inuyasha where it’s popular but since it’s been a few years since it was released it’s not too hyped like jojo or one piece. And it isn’t, not really. But damn??? I’m surprised (pleasantly) that even in 2022 it’s still kicking. I still see art, I still see memes. And I could have sworn back in 2013 - 2016 when I was on tumblr during its peak? Almost downfall?? Of anime content I didn’t see too many posts for it. But idk. Maybe I just put myself right in the middle of some good blogs that still have some love for death note…
