God of storms Au- Gai’s lifetimes
Villager- The life where he never knew Kakashi. All he ever really knew was the god of storms who finally brought rain to his little village when they needed it, and stood in the middle of the village surrounded by people but seen by no one except Gai.
Merchant Gai- The one who only ever knew the strange customer who came to his little stall once a week and bought some produce. Who would chat with a man he knew nothing about, and would Always offer an extra eggplant because he knows Kakashi loves them and Kakashi’s one if so few customers who actually stop to chat with him.
Prince Gai- The lifetime they grew up together. When Kakashi visited Gai every day and disguised himself to look the same age, always providing the lonely prince with a friend. Kakashi never had any say in Gai’s life or any control over him, all he ever did was hang out with him. Talking and playing as they seemingly grew up side by side.
Knight Gai- The lifetime of one night. This Gai never got to meet Kakashi. He never got to grow up beside him, or hear his name. The only time he ever met Kakashi was the night before he died in battle, and yet it’s one of his fondest memories when he looks back at all of his lifetimes.
Teacher Gai- The lifetime of completion. Gai meets what he belives to be a farmer. A man who lives outside of the village and comes by to sell goods and but a few things once in a while. They meet in the market and Gai leaves that day with a smile on his face. Kakashi quickly becomes a regular in Gai’s lifec visiting his little school so often that all of Gai’s students know who he is. It’s the first life where Gai finally has a chance to choose Kakashi. To love Kakashi without restraint or worry, because his lover is right there. By his side every day. Gai has no idea of his true identity, but he doesn’t care. Kakashi is Kakashi to him and that’s all that matters, mortal or god.

and i clung to him, for 15yrs, through so many cycles where he was trying to break me and drive me away. I stayed because i genuinely believed his stories, about the brain injuries, and the headaches, and the seizures. I believed him when he told me he didn't remember hitting me. I thought he just needed more love, and medicine (that he refused to take!!)
And now he's taken my children and won't let me see them at all. Because i was a fool and i believed him. 🤦‍♀️

Maximizing Sustainability with the Product Lifecycle Approach in E-Waste Management
Tumblr media
Understanding Product Lifecycle Management:
Product lifecycle management (PLM) refers to the strategic management of a product's entire lifecycle, from its conception to disposal. It involves the integration of people, processes, data, and systems to optimize product development, manufacturing, distribution, and end-of-life disposal. PLM aims to maximize product value, reduce costs, and improve sustainability throughout the entire lifecycle.
The Stages of the Product Lifecycle:
Design:
The design stage is where the foundation for sustainable product development is laid. By incorporating eco-design principles, such as minimizing the use of hazardous materials, designing for durability, and promoting repairability and recyclability, we can reduce the environmental impact of electronic devices right from the start.
Manufacturing:
During the manufacturing stage, sustainable practices play a vital role in minimizing resource consumption, energy use, and emissions. Embracing clean technologies, efficient production processes, and responsible supply chain management can significantly reduce the ecological footprint of manufacturing operations.
Consumption:
The consumption stage represents the period when consumers use electronic devices. Educating and raising awareness among consumers about responsible use, energy efficiency, and the importance of extending product lifespan can help reduce premature disposal and unnecessary e-waste generation.
Disposal:
The disposal stage is often the most critical and challenging phase in the product lifecycle. Proper disposal and management of e-waste are crucial to prevent environmental contamination and health hazards. Promoting recycling, implementing take-back programs, and supporting responsible e-waste recycling facilities are essential for resource recovery and safe disposal of electronic devices.
Product lifecycle management (PLM) is crucial for businesses for several reasons:
Strategic Planning:
PLM helps companies plan their product development and management strategies effectively. By understanding the stages of the product lifecycle, businesses can allocate resources, set goals, and make informed decisions about product investments, pricing, marketing, and distribution.
Cost Optimization:
PLM enables companies to optimize costs throughout the product lifecycle. By identifying inefficiencies, redundancies, and bottlenecks in product development, manufacturing, and distribution processes, businesses can streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve profitability.
Improved Time-to-Market:
Effective PLM processes ensure that products are developed and launched in a timely manner. By managing the various stages of the product life cycle efficiently, companies can reduce time-to-market, stay ahead of competition, and capitalize on market opportunities.
Quality Control:
PLM facilitates quality control measures throughout the product lifecycle. By integrating quality standards and procedures into each stage, companies can identify and address product defects, ensure compliance with regulations, and enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Enhanced Collaboration:
PLM promotes collaboration among cross-functional teams involved in product development, manufacturing, marketing, and support. It provides a centralized platform for sharing information, coordinating tasks, and aligning efforts, leading to improved communication, teamwork, and efficiency.
Product Innovation:
PLM supports product innovation by facilitating the capture, management, and utilization of valuable product data and insights. It enables companies to gather customer feedback, monitor market trends, and incorporate new technologies, thereby fostering continuous improvement and the development of innovative products.
Regulatory Compliance:
PLM helps companies ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout the product lifecycle. It enables companies to track and manage product-related data, documentation, and certifications, reducing the risk of non-compliance and associated penalties.
Sustainability and Environmental Responsibility:
PLM supports sustainable practices by enabling companies to monitor and manage the environmental impact of their products throughout their lifecycle. It helps in identifying opportunities for eco-friendly design, materials, and manufacturing processes, and facilitates the tracking and reporting of product sustainability metrics.
The Need for Sustainability Throughout the Lifecycle:
Incorporating sustainability principles throughout the product lifecycle is imperative for effective e-waste management. By designing products with longevity, repairability, and recyclability in mind, we can reduce the demand for new devices and minimize e-waste generation. Adopting sustainable manufacturing practices and embracing renewable energy sources can further reduce the carbon footprint associated with production. Encouraging responsible consumption habits, such as proper maintenance, upgrades, and reuse, can extend the lifespan of electronic devices, thereby reducing the need for frequent replacements. Finally, establishing convenient and accessible e-waste recycling systems promotes resource recovery and ensures safe disposal.

Class by Vrinda Sood at AAFT School of Animation
Tumblr media
Noida: “India’s animation and VFX industry was valued at around 83 billion Indian rupees in 2021, despite the lapse in market value in the previous year owed to the pandemic’s adverse effects. Estimates for 2024 indicate a growth rate of 29 percent with the industry’s value amounting to180 billion Indian rupees,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry addressing the students of AAFT School of Animation.
We need to look more at original stories and content rather than just being an outsourcing hub. For this to happen, media, corporate houses and Government need to invest a good amount of money in Indian Animation Industry. With the current Government and the announcement of a National Centre for Excellence in Animation by FM in the Budget, it definitely looks promising,” said Vrinda Sood founder and CEO of Citrus in a workshop conducted at AAFT.
“India has the world’s second-largest entertainment market, the Indian animation and visual effects industry has the potential to grab 20 to 25% of the worldwide AVGC market added Vrinda Soon answering questions by the animation students. Later Sandeep Marwah honoured Vrind with lifec membership of International Film and Television Club of AAFT. The workshop was designed by Ashish Garg Director AAFT School of Animation.
