Taeha's lashes flutter so rapidly that they are practically communicating in morse code. If Sujin were able to decipher their messages he'd probably pick up on words such as what, and come again?, and a loose translation of something along the lines of I beg your finest pardon?!

While she doubts such a thing is possible, it's about the only form of communication she's capable of in this moment. Park Sujin - Stoic Park Sujin. Potential cyborg ( yes, the likelihood was low but never zero - ) Park Sujin. Park Sujin who maybe smiled 2.568% of his entire existence. The same Park Sujin that to Taeha's very misinformed knowledge had been head over heels in love ( allegedly* ) with her older brother since they were kids - had just confessed. To her. Sure she's always daydreamed about a moment like this, but usually those fantasies involved some sort of grand gesture, a cascade of pink flower petals, and some variation of True Beauty era Cha Eunwoo walking towards her in slow motion - Not her childhood buddy behind what she can now see is a very lopsided, knitted grin. A daydream this certainly was not. A fever dream? Quite possibly... But how does someone even escape a fever dream?!

Running away might work... She'd go with that!

"Ah... What was - ? Oh! I - uh, I really -" she stammers, averting her gaze in every direction but Sujin's, backing away towards the opposite end of the hall. "Gotta go! I'm very, very, very late! Talk later?" And with that she scurries as far away from the man as physically possible.

She'd think of a proper response tomorrow. Or the next day. Or maybe the day after that. Or, or - the day after that one.

BURN IT DOWN. where jino’s dad said he had to give a present to @lgcsujin for christmas, and jino said sure, i’ve got an idea.

jino wasn’t a malicious person.

some have even been quoted to say that he didn’t even have an evil bone in his body. their words, not his! and sure, jino could be an overall good kid, he was nice ��� generous, a sweetheart even.

and while what he felt about sujin couldn’t be hate — sometimes it sure felt something close to it. maybe it was all the years of teasing and mind-numbing comparisons catching up to him, but damn did sujin get on his nerves.

so, when his dad had called for his monthly how are you doing son and jino answered pretty good, not dead yet — his dad laughed, then proceeded to vaguely bait him into gifting his cousin something for the upcoming holiday. and while jino had started to complain, his dad only clicked his tongue and said in that charming way he did: come on son, do it for me. he’s family.

family — it was like a trigger word for jino. and that was saying something because jino was a big family person. it was unfortunate that the stupid son of a bitch (his aunt seoyeon wasn’t a bitch at all, she actually was a very nice lady and always gave him fruits during their visits — it was a dramatic expression, so to speak!) standing before him had to be his cousin.

“here —”

shoving the bag into sujin’s hands, jino feigns a friendly grin before grumbling, “merry christmas, 형.”

hailey is, if anything, determined.

she gets what she wants. one way or another she will. when her sights are on someone then, oh boy, she will get them. choi hailey doesn't get rejected. (if she never asks, she never gets rejected.) but this is a special case. sujin is a tough nut to crack.

she had been dropping hints all month. flirtatiously flipping her hair, complimenting him, mentioning how she had no plans and no one to remedy it. nothing. all of it seemed to fly over his head. that, or he wasn't interested. admittedly, hailey didn't consider that as an option. why wouldn't he be interested?

"yah, sujin!" she calls, finding the other alone today in the building. it wasn't an unusual occurrence for him to be off on his own. it made this all the more easier. "do you have plans this weekend?"

after a week break and the news that nova would be having a period freer of schedule, milan has to admit that she finally feels better. far from 'good', but finally 'okay'. it had taken her almost 2 months but finally, she doesn't feel like crying at any moment, finally she can give more genuine smiles. finally.

and with these smiles, some of her playfulness also makes a return. and this is why, upon noticing a familiar face in the legacy corridors, she approaches him with a light step, presses a hand high against the wall, taking a cool pose before opening her mouth. "nice to run into you, teacher! it's been a while" she says in english, a proud smile on her lips. she dramatically flips her hair with her free hand. a soft giggle shatters the cool image she had been trying to give and she reverts back to korean. "don't i sound good?" she asks excitedly. as her previous english tutor, sujin is one of the few people in legacy to know how hopeless the idol used to be when it came to english school as a whole.

she looks at the pile of little houses and decorations with a bit of a lost expression. yein has never been the artsy type, or the kind of person who liked to do these little crafts. in fact, she didn't really like making things on her own at all, save for the times when she's baking but she feels like that's a product of her upbringing more than anything. she was around flour and sugar and yeast so much that she just learned how to combine it into bread, so it's just different.

but this gingerbread village isn't even actual gingerbread, and once she realizes that she's even less into it because it's not even a cute dessert. it's just...plastic?

but since this will be filmed and put on social media, yein is still determined to make the best fake gingerbread house, if only so people will praise her. because she can't even imagine having an ugly gingerbread house, so she supposes she should actually try for this one.

her thoughts are suddenly interrupted by a person standing next to her, and she's kind of glad to have a partner. "are you good at these kinds of things?" she asks, but the smile on her face falls as soon as she sees who it is. "oh. it's the red bean bun thief." yein crosses her arms over her chest. "what are you going to do now, steal the fake candies i want?"

the teaching of kite flying - @lgcsujin

thankfully earlier in the week he had practiced kite flying relatively well with junkyu that he didn't feel any sort of nervousness about shooting this video. it was in most cases a pretty fun traditional game. it was something that wasn't overly complicated and was pretty inclusive.

so needing/wanting to be fully prepared he walked over to sujin to get ideas. "so kite flying. any ideas on how you want the filming to go? do you want to be the one primarily talking or demonstrating?" now thinking it over he should have called him beforehand to set up a script or something.

  rowon whines – tries to, at least – but it sounds too unnatural. after several workshop sessions, he’d come to the startling realization that he is not an all-rounder. there are just some voices and expressions that he can’t do well, pouty and cute being his main achilles heel. so he’d enlisted in sujin’s help, because sujin is the only senior actor that he is not embarrassed to act like an utter fool around. ( it’s only because sujin has seen all there is to see from him – and vice versa. )

  he reattempts, continuing his ‘role’ as the adopted brother picked off the streets to be raised alongside the heir to the throne, prince sujin.

  “you promised me.” in his head, rowon is mimicking the whiniest, poutiest, cutest person he knows – kim seyoon – but something’s amiss. see, when seyoon does it, it’s endearing. when he does it, it sounds like a threat. the next line he improvises doesn’t help either. “so who, dear brother, is this?” he motions at the large teddy bear he’s sitting on, meant to represent sujin’s secret dead lover.

Heyo! As mentioned by the manager post, Taeha will be hosting her first YouTube show through Legacy Studios, Batter Up ! ( not to be confused with the babymonster song but that would probably make a good theme song, no? ). The show's concept and theme of each episode is listed below! With that, I'll need four lucky contestants to star this season! I'm willing to write threads with everyone, so if you're looking to have some baking fun, tell your muse to grab their pink apron ( a necessity!!! ) and comment which episode you'd like to claim!

˗ˏˋ Synopsis:

Welcome to Taeha's disaster bakery! In this YouTube variety show, Taeha invites her guests to a friendly bake-off where the recipes are made up and the taste doesn't matter ( although it probably should - ). In each episode, Taeha and her guest will go head-to-head on a short baking challenge. Winner of the challenge will receive a gift card for free pastries at the Legacy Cafe, while the loser will get caked ( i.e., a cake smash to the face ).

˗ˏˋ Episode 1: Is it cake? ( guest: @lgcmaylin ! )

In this first challenge, Taeha and her guest must design a cake that resembles a random object. The objects they can choose from are a shoe, a book, a potted succulent, and a camera. Whoever makes the most 'realistic' looking cake is the winner.

˗ˏˋ Episode 2: Something's fishy! ( guest: @lgcsujin ! )

In this challenge, Taeha and her guest must build a 'cake' out of provided sushi platters. Whoever manages to make the most aesthetically pleasing cake is the winner.

˗ˏˋ Episode 3: How high? ( guest: @lgcseojin ! )

In this challenge, Taeha and her guest must build a 3 tiered cake. However, the cake layers cannot touch and they must use random items from around the test kitchen. Whoever finishes their cake tower within the time limit is the winner.

˗ˏˋ Episode 4: Cupcake Wars! ( guest: @dantexlgc ! )

In this final challenge, Taeha and her guest must make a cake that not only resembles a cup, but is a functional one! Whoever manages to build a cake that can hold at least one cup of water out of the provide materials is the winner.

On Jino’s birthday, Sujin proudly presented him with a cake of Tasmanian Devil from Looney Tunes. “You used to like this ugly cartoon character,” Sujin said. He never understood kid Jino’s atrocious taste, but he did not judge.

“Happy birthday.” He also got his dear baby cousin a custom-made white puff jacket. Sujin instructed for the designer to stuff extra goose down in to ensure the jacket’s warmth. “Go on, try it on!” He gave Jino an expectant look after opening the massive present box. The jacket was so thick that it would make Jino look like a giant, huggable marshmallow. 

had he been expecting a present from his near-do-well cousin? no. was jino thankful? also no.

( no, no — he was thankful, it was just deep down.

but despite all the animosity he could muster, jino, for a moment, drops all pretense and accepts the gift with a grumble of gratitude because who the fuck was this person — because he surely looked like his cousin but had he ever known the park sujin to be this nice?

he wonders what’s the catch to it all, squinting his eyes at his cousin before taking the box. “wow, thanks 형. i can’t believe you remembered. don’t tell me your mom reminded you.” he laughs, despite himself.

“and i’ll have you know! the tasmanian devil is a great character to love, he’s cute.” in his own way ….

jino pouts as he tries on the jacket, suddenly feeling a little too warm, a little too overwhelmed. “damn, are you sure you got me the right size, dude?”

back at it again with another muse. if you've not connected the dots, hi i'm bee-- the mun behind jasper! ( jaemin fc, aka @lgcxjasper). i couldn't help myself and brought lovely emi here, but you can call her em, or mimi if you're really cute. she's a bit of a firecracker, but she's fun, and will work her ass off to get to where she needs to be. as usually, like/reply to this post and i'll reach out to connect! i'm usually always on discord, just ask for my user!

meet emi, though most people just call her em, and if you've been allowed to call her mimi consider it a privilege. she's been at legacy for a few years and a solid amount of that time has been absolutely working until she can't stand in order to prove she does belong here. the rest of that time is spent living a live she didn't have the privilege of before, having the time of her life, frankly.

she's an 01 liner, 22 years old and has been at legacy since july of 2021. she auditioned in january as well, but was rejected and told to work on her confidence, and so she did exactly that to land a spot and be unforgettable the next time.

she's from nagoya, born and raised until she was able to audition, officially moving to seoul. yes, she can speak in dialect, though she knows the tokyo dialect as well.

she's japanese-korean, as her dad was korean, so she knows the language just as well. she was constantly practicing and keeping her fluency which was perfect, considering she's found herself at legacy.

(tw: parental death, single-parenting, emotional trauma, pregnancy) speaking of daddy dearest, she lost her dad when she was 8, nearly 9 years old suddenly. her little sister was only one at the time, and her mom worked tirelessly to make sure her daughters had the best possible life they could.

... which proved to be easier said than done. emi's life was less than cushiony, and it's even more of a reason to make it and debut in anyway she can. she wants to make sure her sister can do whatever she wants, and repay her mom for all the sacrifices she made to make sure they were okay, even if they weren't in the best of situations.

she has plans to be a true ace in the industry, though right now she excels in vocals, performance and dance. she likes showing how much she's improved, and while she's definitely had criticism, it doesn't get her down, only fuels her to be better each and every time. she's gotten to the point where she even loves evaluations.

got to seoul and really had a chance to shine and have a bit of fun, and... that may be a bit of an understatement. she's blossomed a lot being on her own and going to school and training. she's made friends and foes, seen some debut and head back home, but she has no plans on stopping. when she's not training she's playing video games, shooting hoops, reading, or simply just hanging out.

emi is full of energy, but she's not all sunshine and roses either. she's sweet, but she doesn't go out of her way to make friends or go to places she's not wanted. she will get along with everyone until they give her a reason not to, but she loves to drink and have a good time AND still make it early to practices. sort of a tough cookie to crack unless you're really close to her. absolutely loves to laugh and finds a hard time staying still. she's also a severe flirt and thrives on competition.
