It’s been tall cake Fall . This spectacular floral and fondant creation was for Kara and Russ’s elegant Louisville backyard garden ceremony and reception. Lauren Chitwood designed it, Andrea Glass provided a rainbow of fresh flowers for it and Martine’s cake artistry brought it to life. Lauren doesn’t do too many weddings these days, but when she does it’s with Olio Events and never disappoints. Andrea’s Boston’s Floral Couture flowers were absolutely stunning. Martine’s favorite part is the mid-tier honey comb fondant mosaic. Wedding cakes from the weekend. On Friday we had an Indian design on fondant for Ramyasri & Adarsh at the Embassy. On Saturday we went to Castle and Key with hand painted flowers on fondant & spiral buttercream for Grace & Leland. Then on to Buffalo Trace with fresh flowers on a semi naked cake for Josie & Aaron.
