I made this two months or so ago and forgot to post, but here it is!

A small break to my one piece brainrot

Personal headcannon that Sakura Kiba and Lee would train taijutsu together after the chunnin exam, mainly because Sakura need a life outside Sasuke and Tsunade

And because I think it would be funny if Kiba sees Sakura and Lee fighting and just jump in

Training on the spot

This work is based on a fanart piece by @raraisexaustedart

It was a hot day and the sun was blaring onto Sakura’s skin. Like she was standing directly under it. Just walking outside of Konoha was beginning to make her sweat. She kind of felt bad for Suna shinobi.

Walking around aimlessly until she found him a smile greeted her face and she sped up. It was Lee at his training ground. He was down on the ground and was doing push ups.

“Hey Lee - San” She greeted.

“Sakura Chan” He greeted pushing up from his hands so he was standing firm and tall.

“How are your injuries?” She asked worriedly.

His grin only grew at the concern. “Much better” He admitted even giving her one of his famous thumbs up and winks.

Her smile widened at his quirkiness. “I was actually coming to you for a favor” She admitted slowly.

He dropped his hand and his joking exterior was gone. Now he had on his serious shinobi face. “Of course what is it?” He asked in concern.

She shifted suddenly, becoming sheepish now. Sandals digging into the ground beneath her and fingers playing with her shirt. “Do you think you could spar with me?” She finally asked.

Lee almost seemed like she was doing him a favor. He just grew even more excited. “I would love to Sakura Chan” He exclaimed grabbing onto her hands excitedly Sakura let out a giggle in relief.

In the preliminters of the chunin exam she did horrible. How could she let her rival beat her? More specifically, how could she let Ino beat her?

That’s how she landed where she was. Hair stuck to her forehead, sweat trickling down her neck as she sparred with Rock lee. It became a regular thing that Lee and Sakura sparred in his training ground as long as Neji wasn’t around.

Feet clashed together in a heated battle. It was quick and Sakura was thrown to the ground for what felt like the hundredth time. But instead of jumping straight up a shadow went over her head she twisted her head and it was Kiba jumping into the fight and his nin dog Akamaru at his side.

Pushing herself up she joined the fight again fist connecting with cheek bones and feet connecting with chest and two other fist connecting with her eye but a grin was still present on her face.

It was now that she was sitting on the grass, head turned up as she gulped down what was left in her water bottle when someone finally said something. “We should do that more often,” Kiba said through bated breaths.
