This was not where he wanted to be. And, with every last bit of hope and desperation reeking out of him, Ambrose was on the floor, practically pleading with the Dark Lord himself. This was most unprecedented, seeing that there were far better ways to get around this, but the warlock was at his wit’s end, trying for any sort of combination of getting out of the cell. He needed a Hail Mary, if he could even call it that after all this time.

As he sat on the floor, practically defeated, he spotted a few things in the chambers, things he hadn’t thought of so clearly before, and finally, after much thought and consideration, it was like a whole new plan had been formed. Perhaps not the most feasible of plans, but it certainly was enough to get his blood pumping and the brain working once more. Desperation wasn’t a good look on him, but he knew what he needed to do. Having crawled over to the array of items, giving him one last shot at this opportunity of freedom, he placed the various occult things around him, forming a half circle, and beginning a small chant, allowing for the otherworldly possession to break through.

With his eyes closed and falling into a meditative state, the guide pulled him in and his spirit ran with it through the other side.

Appearing in the bedroom in front of the stranger wasn’t part of the plan, and perhaps there was more to it than could meet the eye, but this was not where he was meant to end up. And, as he watched the other for a brief moment, he wondered if the other could even see him. Assuming it was a mortal however, Ambrose had a glance around the room he appeared in and quickly sighed to himself. “I’ve got the worst bloody luck.”

Eggs were mediocre, thick, fluffy, but a single stick with a fork and he’s pulling the entire portion up from the plate. Taking care of the people he loves. You know. Making sure they have a place to stay, they’re eating, drinking enough water, might go track down who ever upset them and put the fear of God in them. You know. The usual. Also dropping everything for the person, just to be with them. Also trying to be an overall better person? Get his shit together? Maybe even *gasp* go legit ?!

At what age did my muse lose their virginity?

Probably some time insanely young when it came to girls. Twelve or thirteen. Boys a bit older. I’m gonna be honest. I really truly think the first guy he was ever with was Chas. Obviously it didn’t stay that way, but I think that was more a matter of Chas either deciding he really wasn’t all that bisexual after all, or succumbing to societal pressures and just not being the sort of person willing to break the mold.

decades had passed since the outsider last set a single step into this mortal realm,   the comfort of sorrow in the howl of the void too uncomfortably familiar to leave it behind for the sake of humanity.  it had abandoned him,  therefor he had abandoned it.  the empire had dissolved,  its people had returned to a peaceful life without the faux grandeur of corruption constantly eating at the pillars of their society.  it was no small feat and the outsider found it profound,  even if that was a temporary belief,  the rich and royal morphing into another being entirely,  crafting new personas in order to perpetuate their circle.. but this time,  the outsider did not bother to watch.

instead,  his realization of how severe his isolation had been prompted him to mingle with the masses in a more personal way.  reinventing up the artificial human side of himself was easy   /  a silent manner of expressing who he was without his power,  without magic of void pulsing in his veins,  turning his blood black  /  but finding people to talk to that did not have a tiresome story to tell proved difficult.  perhaps,  humanity had not changed after all.  the manner in which exploitation had snaked into people’s lives differed in execution,  but claimed as many lives as before.

this time he knew who to look for.  a name had echoed within the confines of the void,  nightmares spilling into his vision  ( so vivid,  so real,  iron scent filling the air around him each passing moment within it  ),   and the outsider aimed to seek them out.  oddities and the arcane never died.  therefor,  his interest would linger.  the moment aqua hues located him,  the man the whispers spoke of,  his demeanor shifted;  now a timid man,  eager to find the book he needed.  dressed neatly in a simple outfit he was.  a white button-up shirt with puffy sleeves,  black pants that ran tight among his waist,  and low heel shoes  ---  attempting to blend in.  with soft steps emanating from his shoes on the hardwood floor and his arms behind him,  he came to a standstill besides the man,  a curious expression ‘pon his visage.
