Tsubaki and Black*Star? so good for each other, peak supportive sibling dynamic

there's just sommething about the way they interact and when you put it in contrast with how her brother sees her in this arc it just OUGHF it gets me man

he knows her so well and she cares about him so much, and they trust each other a lot oughhhhhh

GOD and the way she doesn't like it when other people dont like him or it makes her sad for those villagers to see him as a monster like, thats her honorary baby brother hes really wonderful hes just weird you guys!!! be nice to him!

and he's willing to get beaten up just so he can be by her side during her fight bc he wants to support her and you can hit him all you'd like but don't lay a hand on her!!! that's his big sister you cant do that!!

OH GOODNESS and when they came back???? Black*Star?? the first thing he did was HEY GUYS LOOK AT THIS SHIT ITS TSUBAKI SHE'S GOT A COOL NEW THING AND YOU BETTTER WATCH CAUSE ITS SOO COOL like oh my god??? thats so cute???

and the way that he assured her she didn't have to share her history with the blade if she didn't want to if she wasn't ready AND SHE WASN'T but also she WANTED to share with him because she wanted to b open with him!!!! she just had to work things out with herself for a bit first???

AND he put his trust in her to know what to do EVEN THOUGH she hadn't told him how she knew what to do and it was a plan he didn't know all the parts to????

and guys she joined the dmwa bc she wanted to save her brother before he became a kishin and she did that but ALSO she got a little brother who cares about her and she cares about him and they accept each other for who they are and help each other grow god ifs so beautiful!!
