I truly think the road to edinburgh festival fringe should be required viewing for those who want to write fotc fic that's actually ofmd fic in disguise. You don't HAVE to use larry pritchard as the love interest for murray but you should at least understand that he's an option

#of course it's not actually the same continuity as the tv show but you can easily pretend it is #larry has at least a few established traits which makes it easier than making up a whole new guy #and there's an obvious window for his and murray's personalities to clash at first which could create an interesting conflict #they could end up becoming co-managers possibly. could be fun #also a love interest who's like a former manager of the band would tie the conflict heavily to said band #and by extension keep a decent amount of focus on the actual main characters of the show. everybody wins #incidentally the fact that it's apparently 'festival fringe' and not 'fringe festival' according to the title of the video bugs me so much
