poverty is hell to get out of.
#we got help with the big bills and managed to pay for the piercing course#but i need the hygiene course. which costs money. once we pay the big bill off#in theory we'd be able to save#but in the fall around october car insurance will have to happen#which is several hundred euros#and end of year stuff like electricity (again) water and gas#will be added up by our landlord#so all of the money we could save this summer has to go towards those#without donations how will i ever get my hygiene certificate to start working to get money?#if all extra goes towards paying life stuff how will i ever get to start this career?#i mean worse comes to worst i'll have to wait a full year so that ri is finally working#making more money than our aid currently is#but that's in another year. that's a full year away and we're struggling so bad month to month.#how is this supposed to be life?

Update to my situation. So I have been living at my dad's for some weeks now. There's been a lot of adjusting, trust needing to be rebuilt, habits needing to be broken. I'm having an ok time, but there are still a lot of things bothering me. After fleeing most of my personal possessions are gone. The lease is no longer in my name (hilariously, it's now in my Ex-roommates name. ISN'T THAT SO FUNNY) and any hopes at getting my deposit back are slashed. There are several things I need to replace. I don't feel safe returning to that apartment to retrieve them.
Not only that but I left a Lot of important documents like my birth certificate and SSN which I inexplicably could not locate when I looked for them, as well as storage devices and phones. I found that my Facebook was accessed from a phone I'm no longer in possession of and my emails continue to be compromised. It feels like a hopeless situation and I've been deterred/discouraged from seeking legal recourse. I feel lost. Years and years of artwork are out of my hands. My equipment is at the apartment and who knows if it hasn't been scrapped or sold. I know I shouldnt mourn material things but the way my sense of security, my own private sanctum is no longer a place I can return to, affects me deeply. Someone impersonating my father has been adding me on Facebook over multiple duplicate accounts and she lied about contacting my family. Compromising video has been sent to my dad and stepmom. They've been gracious but it's still humiliating and deeply disturbing that this happened to me. I don't feel I deserve this.
I received my final gas bill and the amount is for $425. If I ever hope to rent again here, I have to pay this. My former landlord is not communicating with me in a timely fashion. I'm trying to get on SSI and hopefully return to a sense of normalcy and independence. I've been seeking stability after the many traumas and changes I've had to face. it's honestly a challenge to find motivation right now and I'm masking a lot of my pain. I feel alone.
I still need help. If I'm to create a life for myself that is healthy and sustainable I need help. Please, if you've seen what I've experienced then don't hesitate or second guess and give. I am just tired right now. You've showed up for me before, please do it now.

No heat, hot water or gas until my landlord manages to get a gas safety engineer who was meant to be coming in 2 weeks to do the gas safety certificates to come out sooner because the Carbon Monoxide detector went off yesterday and the gas company quite rightly turned everything off. And it’s 8:25 on a Saturday morning and no one will be up yet but I’m just so very tired and done

Listen, I don’t like being accused of stuff like this and it’s rude of you to think that I’m lying. I don’t play around when it comes to my dog. But if you really must know. Here are the medical records:
Now I’m not sure what kinda proof you need of her pain but I feel like her not being able to eat solid foods because of a gum disease is pretty painful.
You wanna see my bank account too? The only reason I was able to take her in was because I had a coupon.
The $36 is for the mandatory rabies vaccine.
Now my finances. Why so low?
Well a few months ago I got fired from a job that didn’t pay well anyways. I had car issues then a medical emergency that had me in the hospital for a bit. I needed a blood transfusion for my severe anemia which was worsened by my anorexia. That along with my body being strained by my anxiety and depression. I was weak and barely able to do anything.
This put me in a situation where I couldn’t pay my rent. It got so bad to the point where I got the 3 day eviction warning.
There’s some days where I don’t eat and am currently holding off getting my OWN ADHD(which has been newly diagnosed) medication. I made a payment plan with the landlord and although I got a new job, currently, everything I make goes right to the overdue rent. Everything! I held onto some for gas, toilet paper, and some food.
It’s sad because you would think that in the profession I’m in , that I’d make good money. But unfortunately lawyers are cheap when paying their staff and California is just ridiculously expensive as it is!

Oh and did I mention the student loans I have for acquiring a bachelors degree and paralegal studies certificate?
So yeah, I’m in a rough spot and I’m hoping to get back on my feet 100% by January. I don’t do this because I want to.
