Last one for today since I have leave for work..😭 So Kinsley and Mason dealing with Aiden having a panic attack due to his social anxiety. Aiden can be any age. Thank you Shay and have a great day!
Warning: panic attacks
"So Aiden, what do you think helped contribute to the loss tonight?" A reporter asked as Aiden sat on a small stage. It was the middle of basketball season and the Lakers had been on a 5 game loosing streak, which had the media going crazy with speculation.
"I think we've been a little disconnected as a team, with our most dominant rebounder being out with an injury," Aiden explained. "We're not used to playing without him and it's taking us some time to figure it out."
"Are you sure that your excursions off of the court have nothing to do with it?" Another reporter questioned. "You were photographed being in Seoul the other day and you barely made it back to the States in time for this game. You don't think that your mind might've been elsewhere?"
"What the fuck are they talking about?" Kinsley whispered from her place on the side of the stage next to Mason. "He came home because the losses have been fucking with his anxiety."
"Calm down, mama bear," Mason whispered. "Let him handle it."
"Um, I went to go see my family who I haven't seen since pre-season and I think if anything, it helped me," Aiden replied, wiping his hands on his tracksuit as he felt them beginning to get sweaty. "I needed to be around some good vibes."
"And you couldn't find those vibes say in, the gym?" The same reporter wondered.
"I don't think that-,"
"Are you aware that there's talk about the Lakers being disappointed with your performance?" The reporter goaded. "When you were drafted, you had so much promise but your perfomance over the last few games has been less than stellar."
"Um, I don't-"
"And with those rumors, any sane person would think you'd be more focused on getting in as much practice time as possible instead of hanging out with family."
"I-I can't, uh," Aiden stammered, his throat feeling tight as his vision started to blur.
"Fuck, he's having a panic attack," Mason groaned.
"Go get my baby," Kinsley said but Mason was already on the move, stepping up onto the stage and going over to his youngest son. Mason pulled him up out of his seat, pulling Aiden way and helping him down off the stage.
"You take him somewhere and calm him down, I'll deal with the vultures," Mason said and Kinsley nodded as she wrapped her arm around Aiden, leading him out of the conference room and down the hallway to the locker room. Once they were there, Kinsley sat Aiden down before she squatted in front of him.
"Alright baby, you know how we do this," she said softly. "Hand here." Aiden lifted his hand and placed it on her chest, where her heart beat was and Kinsley did the same to him with her hand. "Match your breathing to mines. Slow it down." Aiden did the best he could, panting as he tried to force himself to slow down.
"M-my chest," he stuttered.
"I know, I know it hurts baby but it'll only feel better if you keep breathing," she told him and he nodded, focusing on his breaths. After about 15 minutes, he found that it was easier for him to inhale and exhale and that usually meant the worst of it was over.
"I haven't had one that bad in a while," Aiden whispered. "It was just too many questions and it's not solely my fault that we're losing and-"
"Hey, you're gonna work yourself up again," Kinsley interrupted him. "I don't want you listening to them, you hear me?"
"Ok," he nodded.
"You're going to take the next three days until your next game and relax," Kinsley said. "I don't want to hear you utter a word about basketball until then."
"Ok," Aiden repeated, clutching tightly onto his mama when she hugged him.

A Novice's Guide To Sports Betting Fundamentals
If you are a sports lover and had wished to wager on sports previously, however were burdened by all the specialized language, for example, point spreads, chances, and book making, unwind. After you have perused this post, you will be prepared to partake inside a brief timeframe. In spite of the fact that sports betting may show up very overwhelming from the start, it isn't generally so complicated as it might appear.
A Concise History Of Gambling In Sports
Gambling had profound roots in England and normally, the settlers brought their adoration for gambling over to the US and went on with the custom. Early pioneers have been known to bet on chicken battling, boxing, and horse racing. In the mid nineteenth hundred years, most of gambling was focused on horse racing with enclosing second spot. However, with expanding popularity of baseball, the focal point of sports gambling shifted to baseball betting towards the later piece of the 100 years.
By the beginning of the twentieth hundred years, sports like the school b-ball and football began getting the consideration of overall population and with the progression of time these sports were rivaling baseball regarding popularity. The earliest type of wagering on football and b-ball included the utilization of chances - a framework actually rehearsed today - otherwise called the money line.
Advancement Of The Sports Betting
The technique for betting with money line posed enormous issues for the bookmakers and they had to think of a substitute. A greater part of gambles were inclined to put down bets in school groups that were very better than their rivals, making the result of the matches an inescapable end product and bringing about losses for book creators. Not long before WWII broke out, the bookmakers present another technique for sports gambling that changed this industry until the end of time.
Enter The Point Spread
In straightforward terms, the point spread is an impairment that is put on the reasonable winner of any crate ball or football match-up in points. For instance, if the Lakers were supposed to just wreck the Trimmers, the point spread for the game might be determined at as high as 20 points. Basically, 20 points would be either deducted from the absolute score of Lakers score, or added to the all out score of Trimmers. In such a case, any sports fan who put down a sports bet on the Lakers would possibly bring in money if the Lakers win by something like 21 points. Additionally, gamblers wagering on the Trimmers stand to win their bets if the Trimmers win the game and regardless of whether the Trimmers lose the game, gamblers can in any case win gave Trimmers lose by 19 or less.

Second ask
Cassidy has a girl's day with her aunts, yes that includes Goldust.
Look at me. Late as usual. I'm good like that. Terrible thing is I've bascially done nothing today at all. Only walked my dog.
The Family of Destruction- Lucky Girls.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Cassie purses her lips as she sits at the dinner table. Chyna, Stephanie and goldust stand around her. "Whyd you do it?" Stephanie asks. "It was an accident.." cassie frowns. "Okay, shooting one brother? Accident. You managed to shoot two brothers." Goldust huffs moving towards the counter. "Yeah, shooting John was an accident." Cassie sighs. "That makes sense" goldust nods pouring wine. "Am I missing something? Why is every male okay with the idea of Leon being shot?" Chyna asks. "You two wouldn't understand because he's an angel to you two. He's a little shit with mommy issues. He only has mommy issues because he hasn't got a mother. Which is something we can't change." Goldust huffs turning towards the girls.
"Hes not bad enough to shoot" Stephanie states. "He is. And it was his bow and arrow. John was just too close, it went through Leon's arm and into his. I don't know why his arrows are so sharp" she frowns. "Because he uses them to hunt. The monsters around here are thick skinned" goldust hums. "So, we've got time to kill before your dad comes home to punish you. What shall we do?" Steph asks. "Wanna go out?" Chyna asks. "Might be my last for awhile. Can we go shopping?" Cassie asks. "Of course we can darling. You know I love shopping with you" goldust cheers downing his wine.
The girls look at him shocked before laughing.
------------------------------------------------------------------
"Can't you talk your dad into building a mall in the valley? The drive is way too long" goldust sighs. "Couldn't imagine living in the valley without a mall" Steph huffs. "He has got plans for a mall. The old land just outside the main town. Its out of sight, close to the field where the events are held, no sound complaints or building complaints." Cassie admits. "Seriously? Takers building a mall?" Chyna asks. "Mhm, tired of driving me and my friends out of town to shop but also tired of the complaints of the youth being bored youths who destroy things." Cassie answers.
"Has he started it yet?" Goldust asks, pretty sure he's seen builders around. "Yep. Papa did the designing for it. The build layouts are amazing." Cassie smiles. "Never knew Shawn had it in him" steph huffs as goldust parks. "So...you got the goods?" Goldust asks turning to the back seat. Cassie smiles and holds up the black and gold credit card. "How the hell did you get that?" Chyna asks reading the name on the card. Vince Mcmahon. "Leon stole it a year ago. Vince knows but doesn't care as long as its not steph or Shane." Cassie shrugs. "Lets see about that" steph mutters stealing the card and walking towards the mall. "Oh this will be fun!" Goldust cheers climbing out.
------------------------------------------------------------------
The girls walk around the mall spending vinces money with no worries.
Goldust watches as Cassie stops outside one of the only men targeted shops. "Feeling guilty bug?" Goldust asks grabbing chyna and stephs attention. "A little bit...especially John." She whispers. "Oh. All right I guess we can spend some money on those mutts" goldust huffs leading the girls in the shop. Cassie looks around. "It stinks." She winces. "Boys for you baby, boys." Chyna huffs looking around. "Well, they have a lot John would like. Not so sure about Leon." Steph admits. Cassie walks up to the basketball vests. "He was complaining his Lakers one needed replacing." Cassie states. "Then let's get him a new one." Chyna hums looking for his size. "Ill look for a baseball hat, for both him and Leon." Stephanie states walking off.
"What do you want to get Leon then?" Goldust asks taking the vest as chyna states she's going to grab matching shorts and sweat bands for them. Cassie frowns and looks around. Her eyes spot the not so sporty section of the store and she pulls goldust over to it.
"This could work" he nods looking at the leather jackets. Cassie doesn't say anything, just smiles as she picks up a necklace. She knows Leon does wear necklaces. He had a choker with a ring on it, just like their papa used to wear. The ring was a three way gift between Matthew, Valentina and Leon. They each got one and the ring has their initials in it.
She looks at the jackets and helmet accessories and smiles. "This will do perfectly." She nods.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Leon frowns as John leans against him. "So tired" John whispers. "Your heavy" Leon frowns. "Goldust said they went out shopping." Shawn whispers. "Shes in trouble. She shouldn't be having a girls day out!" Taker snaps. "Its fine dad..we are both alive and well." Leon huffs. "John has a match tomorrow and he's casted up and unable to use his arm!" Taker barks. Leon waits for him to continue. He doesn't. "Oh it's alright dad, I'm just a little sore" Leon huffs looking at his slinged arm. John let's out a huffed chuckle ad he rests his head on Leon's shoulder and closes his eyes.
"And you'll have a cool story to tell your classmates" Taker tells him. Leon rolls his eyes and rests his head against John's. "Sorry we are late! We got cassie her last meal" steph states carrying bags. "Last meal" Shawn huffs helping chyna with the bags. "I brought apology gifts." Cassie whispers holding up two bags. Taker looks at them. One with Leon's name and one withs John. "You are still in trouble. But go" Taker murmurs. Cassie nods and moves to her big brothers.
The adults gather behind the sofa and watch the interaction.
"I brought sorry gifts" she states. Both boys open their eyes. "You didnt have to bug" John yawns sitting up. "Speak for yourself" Leon huffs taking the bag. John rolls his eyes grabbing his bag. He smiles at the basketball gear. "Thanks bug" John smiles hugging her as he puts the hat on. Cassie smiles and looks at Leon. The leather jacket folded on his lap, the little helmet horns accessories sat on them. He hasn't got his own motorbike yet but he has a helmet for when he rides with dad.
Leon isn't smiling. His face is flat. Cassies heart races as he examines the necklace. John watches him concerned. Leon runs his finger over the emblem. A small smile quirks onto his face. "Ill give you this, it's a good one" Leon states glancing at his sister as he holds the necklace up over his head. Shawn and taker can't help but smile.
The necklace was a silver chain with a little silver arrow head on the end.
"You're a lucky girl bug" Leon smiles. Lowering the necklace. "I forgive you for shooting me" Leon states leaning forward, allowing cassie to put the necklace on him. "I forgive you two" John yawns resting his head back on Leon's shoulder. Cassie smiles at her parents. "No more girls days out for a month" Taker tells her. "And we will talk more about what happened today later." Shawn adds. "Mhm told you a girls day at the mall would work" chyna smirks. "I want vinces card back" Leon yawns.
"You little shit" Taker growls causing the others to laugh.

Thy Slaughter - Lost Everything (Official Video)
i try not to go too hard on muslims or catholics but i really do feel that the aim isnt to get young men away from christianity but to foster hatred between the two groups while they continue fuckin the both of us. but i have to say i have NEVER seen someone attempt to convert someone to islam using quotes from the koran, in fact ive said it before and ill say it again, ive never heard anyone outside the internet and even then rarely, quote the koran outside the muslim world. it makes me wonder what the book contains thats so appealing to young men, i mean not really ive read a lot of it, i know whats appealing to them, its based and redpilled on women but for gods sake man READ TITUS, its a few fucking pages one of the shortest books in the bible, and its way more based about women, paul lays it out plainly too but then youd have to go hunting through all of his letters and stuff where as titus you could read in about ten minutes. no good idea is present in the koran that they didnt lift from the bible, and most importantly i want you to wrap your head around this, there is about equal time from the death and ressurection of christ, to the forming of either islam OR judaism, as there is time between the invention of those false religions and the modern day, so jesus and his gospels were already known for about a thousand years before the jewish talmud was written down, or the koran was written, thats a long time. there is this idea that all three abrahamic religions started around the same time, or that the modern conception of judaism was FIRST of all fucking things, but youve got it wrong, christianity is the religion of the old testament, its a new convenant with new rules but same religion, and the pharisees and sadducees were the splinter group, and there insane perversion of the one true religion wasnt written down for a full thousand years after the bible was written, modern religious jews follow the talmud NOT the torah, they are the offshoot, they are the imposters aping our religion not the other way around and most importantly we were here first. in the so called jews of today, do you see adam? abraham? joseph? jacob? moses? the nomenclature and window dressing of modern jews matches some of the window dressing of the hebrews of old, but if i snuck into the lakers locker room and put on shaqs jersey that doesnt make me fucking shaq, the spirit of god is not in them, doi

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s Milwaukee Jersey Worn During His First Two NBA Seasons Debuts at Heritage
Tumblr media
In 2018, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar penned an open letter to that year’s NBA Draft class in which he welcomed them to the “rollercoaster ride that is your rookie year.” Abdul-Jabbar, as accomplished a writer today as he was a scorer during his basketball career, warned the newbies about the “rush of confusing paradoxes, conflicting emotions, competing options, and dubious advice from crusty been-there old-timers. Like me.” At which point, Abdul-Jabbar turned his attention toward his rookie season in 1969, when the 22-year-old still known as Lew Alcindor out of UCLA was drafted first overall by the last-place Milwaukee Bucks thanks to the flip of a coin.
“I found that the best way to deal with the jitters was for me to focus on setting personal goals rather than think about the expectations others put on me,” Abdul-Jabbar wrote. “And, man, were there a lot of expectations: I’d been the first person drafted and the media directed intense attention at me about what I was going to do and how I was going to do it. All the hype left me thinking that this was mine to screw up.”
Of course, Abdul-Jabbar did anything but screw it up: During the 1969-70 season, he led the Bucks to second place in the Eastern Division and was named Rookie of the Year. One season later, he was the league’s scoring leader; the Bucks swept the Baltimore Bullets in the NBA Finals; and Abdul-Jabbar was named the Most Valuable Player for the regular season and in the Finals — of which served as prelude to a legend, as both a Buck and a Los Angeles Laker.
For the first time, Heritage offers in the Nov. 16-18 Fall Sports Catalog Auction a road Milwaukee Bucks jersey worn by Abdul-Jabbar during those historic seasons when the center snagged a league championship and a scoring title — each, the first of many to follow. Photo-matched by multiple third-party experts to crucial moments throughout Abdul-Jabbar’s days as a legend-in-the-making, the jersey serves as a thrilling offering in an auction abounding with palpable reminders of historic achievements and magical memories shaped by titanic athletes.
Resolution Photomatching confirms it was at least worn during an April 1971 Western Conference Finals versus the Lakers and an April 1971 NBA Finals game against the Bullets. Sports Investors Authentication turned up likely matches to several regular season and post-season games, dating from March 18, 1970, to the Game Four title-clinching contest against the Bullets on April 30, 1971. It is graded a MEARS A10 and also comes with a letter of provenance from Patrick McBride, a former Bucks equipment manager.
The jersey is joined in this auction by the 1969 Look Magazine College All-America Basketball Team ring presented to Alcindor in 1969. It hails from The Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Collection.
Here, as well, is more jewelry awarded to another pro-basketball great in 1969: the NBA Championship ring Bill Russell received when his Boston Celtics won their 11th title in 13 seasons. Auctioned by the two-time NCAA champ and Olympic gold medalist shortly before his death last year, this was the final title ring of Russell’s storied 13-year run as the Celtics’ center (and, for a while, player-coach), earned when the Boston basketball squad entered the Finals as underdogs to their arch-nemeses Lakers (featuring Wilt Chamberlain, natch) and emerged victorious after seven heated hardwood tussles.
It’s a wonder to behold: ESPN once marveled at the “colossal jewel” at its center and noted how “BOSTON CELTICS and WORLD CHAMPIONS are separated by the year: 1969, Russell’s last as a professional.” The words “WILLIAM” and “RUSSELL” are etched on opposite sides of the prized piece.
“With the opening of the basketball season upon us, we are delighted to offer these incredible pieces from the greats of the game,” says Chris Ivy, Director of Sports Auctions at Heritage. “And it doesn’t stop with these two pieces, either: Here are Michael Jordan’s 1984 Olympic game-worn Converse sneakers and one of the nicest examples of one of the rarest cards, a Wilt Chamberlain 1961 Fleer rookie bearing a Mint 9 signature. This auction is one hell of a tip-off to the new season.”
Among the auction’s other top tops, you’ll find a 1958 Los Angeles Dodgers white home flannel that throws nothing but heat: Sandy Koufax’s game-worn jersey dating to the team’s first year in the City of Angeles. The Left Hand of God also signed the gamer, into which Rawlings stitched “Koufax 58” below the manufacturer’s label.
Koufax was the first three-time winner of the award named for Cy Young, who is represented in this event by a card that needs little pitching: a twice-signed 1893 cabinet card from the hard-throwing righty’s collection. The card was made by Pifer & Becker, among Cleveland’s most renowned photo studios, which counted among its clients Young’s Cleveland Spiders. Only six of their cabinets have been to auction.
“This relic is an absolute unicorn,” says Heritage’s Executive Vice President of Sports, Joe Orlando. “The provenance is remarkable, as is the rarity and quality. There has been a massive surge in the popularity of signed cards, but signed cards from this era are so few and far between.”
There are the modern icons and gems here, too, among them: card No. 41 of the 100 signed Tom Brady rookies from the Playoff Contenders series issued in 2000; the only 2017 Panini Contenders Patrick Mahomes II Super Bowl Ticket Autograph rookie card, graded BGS Mint 9 and Auto 9; and the one-of-one 2011 Bowman Chrome Bryce Harper Prospect Autograph-Superfractor, graded BGS Gem Mint 9.5 and Auto 10. They’re the chase cards of which young collectors’ dreams are made.
So were these once: Topps’ limited run of cards made for the Venezuelan market and aimed at that country’s profoundly passionate baseball fans. They existed for a short time — seven years, on and off, between 1959 and 1968 — and looked like their American counterparts, save for the darker, rougher and less shiny stock. The numerous websites devoted to the subject all say the same thing: You almost have to hold the cards to tell the differences. But they are decidedly rare, and the more than 110 offerings in this auction — including a 1959 Venezuela Topps Mickey Mantle graded PSA Excellent 5 and a 1960 Venezuela Topps Carl Yastrzemski Sport Magazine Rookie Star) graded PSA Excellent+ 5.5 — are decidedly impressive, especially since finding these cards in a high grade is challenging, at best.
This offering, though, is impossible to find anywhere else: a photograph of Babe Ruth he signed on June 28, 1947, and gifted to a young ballplayer named Paul DeKovessey. Ruth had been diagnosed with throat cancer the year before, and Paul’s mother was the Yankees legend’s nurse. When Ruth signed that photo, he was undergoing experimental treatments at New York City’s Mount Sinai Hospital using an anti-cancer drug made from brewer’s yeast. This photo comes from the DeKovessey family’s collection.
Here’s another family heirloom with a New York baseball legend connection: Early 1960s Jackie Robinson Used Los Angeles Brooklyn Dodgers equipment bag, which he gifted to a would-be Dodger during a 1964 tryout — in this case, our consignor’s father.
Dodgers scouting director Al Campanis invited 19-year-old Mike Mathwig to a Dodgers Rookie Stars of Tomorrow tryout on June 23, 1964, at John Galvin Field near Los Angeles. The teen carried with him a glove, his shoes and a uniform. Robinson saw the kid without an equipment bag and offered him his — a blue Dodgers bag upon which was stenciled one of the sport’s most famous numbers, 42. Before becoming a high school coach, Mathwig played eight years in the minors, including six seasons in the sun as a Dodgers prospect. In time, the bag made its way to Mathwig’s garage, where it sat for decades until his son-in-law discovered it in 2013. Mathwig was asked where it came from. His response, according to a letter provided by his daughter and the bag’s consignor, Sarah McKay: “Oh yeah, Jackie gave that to me.”
This auction is rife with stories like this — footnotes deserving of whole chapters. Look no further than the bat Ty Cobb signed in 1947 for Juanita Jennings, the mother of Babe Ruth’s daughter Dorothy. For decades, Dorothy was introduced as Ruth’s adopted daughter with his first wife, Helen. But in her 1988 biography My Dad, The Babe, Dorothy revealed she was, in fact, his biological daughter — the result of Ruth’s affair with Jennings in 1920. As the catalog notes, Cobb knew nothing of this backstory, only that Jennings was a close friend of Ruth’s.
From the world of horse racing comes another marvel with a backstory provided by Hall of Fame jockey Ángel Tomás Cordero Jr., the first Puerto Rican inducted into the United States Racing Hall of Fame: his “magic saddle,” which he used to win eight Triple Crown races. As Cordero says in a lengthy missive accompanying the saddle, which he signed, it was made specially for the jockey in 1978 and was first used “in winning the 1978 Stuyvesant Handicap on Seattle Slew in what was the last race of his career.” He used it until 2020, by which time, Cordero writes, it had become “the most famous saddle in horse racing history.”
The Nov. 16-18 Fall Sports Catalog Auction abounds with extraordinary stories like that. Our advice: Saddle up.

"Jersey Legends: Celebrating the Best Athletes of All Time"
In the world of sports, a player's jersey is more than just a uniform. It represents their team, their city, and their legacy. Throughout history, there have been countless athletes who have cemented their place in sports history, and their jerseys have become synonymous with their greatness. In this article, we will be celebrating some of the best athletes of all time and the jerseys that made them legends.
Michael Jordan's number 23 jersey is perhaps the most iconic in all of sports. Jordan was a six-time NBA champion and widely considered to be the greatest basketball player of all time. His impact on the sport and popular culture is immeasurable, and his number 23 jersey has become an instantly recognizable symbol of his greatness. Even today, over 20 years since he retired, his jersey remains one of the best-selling in the NBA.
Another basketball legend whose jersey has become synonymous with his greatness is Kobe Bryant. Bryant wore the number 8 jersey during his early years with the Los Angeles Lakers before switching to the number 24. Both jerseys have become iconic, with the number 8 representing Bryant's early dominance and the number 24 representing his later years as a seasoned veteran. Bryant's tragic death in 2020 only served to solidify his place as one of the greatest basketball players of all time, and his jerseys remain in high demand to this day.
In football, there are few players who can match the impact and legacy of Pele. The Brazilian striker won three World Cups and scored over 1000 career goals, cementing his place as one of the greatest footballers of all time. Pele's number 10 jersey has become synonymous with his brilliance on the field, and it is a number that has been passed down to other great Brazilian players such as Ronaldinho and Neymar.
Another football legend whose jersey has become iconic is Lionel Messi. The Argentine forward has won countless individual awards and led Barcelona to numerous titles during his career. Messi's number 10 jersey has become a symbol of his genius on the field, and it is one of the best-selling jerseys in the world today. With Messi's recent move to Paris Saint-Germain, it will be interesting to see if he can continue his legacy and make his new number 30 jersey just as iconic.
Moving to baseball, there are few players who can match the impact and legacy of Babe Ruth. Ruth is widely considered to be the greatest baseball player of all time, and his number 3 jersey has become an iconic symbol of his greatness. Ruth's power and charisma on and off the field made him a legend, and his jersey remains a popular choice for baseball fans to this day.
In hockey, Wayne Gretzky's number 99 jersey is perhaps the most iconic in the sport. Gretzky is widely considered to be the greatest hockey player of all time, and his impact on the sport is immeasurable. His number 99 jersey has become a symbol of his dominance on the ice, and it is a number that has been retired across the entire NHL in honor of his legacy.
Finally, in soccer, there are few players who can match the impact and legacy of Diego Maradona. Maradona led Argentina to World Cup glory in 1986 and is widely considered to be one of the greatest soccer players of all time. His number 10 jersey has become an iconic symbol of his genius on the field, and it is a number that has been passed down to other great Argentine players such as Lionel Messi.
In conclusion, the jerseys of these legendary athletes represent more than just a uniform. They are symbols of greatness, excellence, and legacy. These athletes have left an indelible mark on their sports, and their jerseys will continue to inspire fans for generations to come.

Anthony’s Stupid Daily Blog (376): Tue 28th Mar 2023
I couldn’t be bothered to do anything today…like literally nothing. There’s probably a rock that had a more productive day than me because someone might have picked that rock up and skimmed it across a river whereas I did fuck all. Nobody skimmed me across a river, David didn’t slingshot me at Goliath’s head, no crabs banged each other up against me, I just did absolutely nothing. The next two days are just about killing time before I fuck off to LA for Mania and the Lakers game and as such they do not matter. I was so bored that I ended up having two naps today, one in the early afternoon and one in the late afternoon. A nap is supposed to give you a new burst of energy but obviously not today as I slept longer the second time than the first which means the gap in between the two naps must have been more boring than the early morning. Maybe the boredom I suffered today will end up benefiting me in the long run. Similar to how someone preparing for a man vs food challenge night fast for a few days to make themselves extra hungry I think I’m trying to make myself extra bored so that the combined thrill of WrestleMania and the LA Lakers seem even more epic than they would already.
Since I am going to Mania I really felt as though I should know at least something about the storylines leading into the show and so I decided to check out last night’s Raw. Holy fuck I picked the wrong year to go to Mania in terms of great builds to the matches because outside of the main event between Cody / Roman and Sami/Kevin be Usos the build for most of the other matches is not great. We’re getting TWO pointless four way exhibition tag matches spread across the two nights. I can’t get my head around the fact that Vince / HHH still don’t seem to have realized that there shouldn’t be any filler at Mania, it should be all killer (anyone you don’t have a storyline for you can put in a battle royal but at least let the winner of the battle royal get something. A title shot at SummerSlam perhaps). I also rolled my eyes when I saw that Stacy Kiebler is going into the Hall of Fame. She is now officially the bottom of the barrel of the Hall of Fame. Torrie Wilson at least drew extra eyeballs to WWE when she posed for Playboy. Kiebler never won a title in WWE and never had a storyline that was even noteworthy. She did have great legs though. How hilarious would it be if she turned up at the Hall of Fame ceremony after so many years away and had put on a shitload of weight specifically around her legs and they were now hideous like what I imagine Wanda Sykes’ legs look like?
I asked a HR representative on the app about the status of my contract and he said he’d get back to me tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll get an email through telling me that I’m being made permanent which will be the perfect news to get before I jet off to LA.

Clippers continue dominance over Lakers
Tumblr media
LOS ANGELES (News4usonline) - Los Angeles may be a Lakers town, but the Clippers don’t give a twit. The Los Angeles Clippers have that chip on their shoulders because they’ve now beaten the Los Angeles Lakers 11 straight times. That is not something that you sweep under the rug. The Clippers, quite simply, have the Lakers' number. The Clippers’ 125-118 win against the Lakers at Crypto.com Arena was just the latest beatdown Tyronn Lue’s ballclub has handed the purple and gold. With Paul George missing the game while nursing himself back to health. Lue got solid contributions from just about everyone he had on the floor against the Lakers.
Tumblr media
Team depth showed itself to be a valuable tool for the Clippers to use now and in the postseason. Led by Norman Powell’s 27 points, the Clippers had six players score in double-figures. The bench of the Clippers outscored their peers, 55-25. “We definitely can be good,” Lue said after the game in postgame comments. “We gotta clean up some things and just defensively just too lax. We score, I think we scored four times, and they came back and scored, we didn’t get matched up. Gave up four threes, things like that can’t happen. Some misassignments versus switches, we didn't switch the right way. We didn’t call out the switch, so we gave up a lot of points on our mistakes. And so, if we clean those up, like you said, we can be a real dangerous team going into the playoffs." MY OH MY KAWHI pic.twitter.com/uRK6LXSUhq— LA Clippers (@LAClippers) April 6, 2023 LeBron James or not, the Lakers just can’t shake or get over the top of the Clippers. James scored a team-high 33 points for the Lakers, with 30 coming after halftime. It wasn’t enough. The three points that James scored in the first half were reflective of the team playing back-to-back road games. The night before the Lakers prevailed against Utah in overtime.  “It was tough,” said James. “One of the tougher games we had this year. Just coming off a road trip, and even though this is a road game, getting back late last night after an overtime game. It was a tough game for us obviously starting the first half. Playing Lakers basketball, we had some good spurts. It was one of those schedule conflicts. Definitely got the best of us tonight.”     Both the Clippers and Lakers had a lot riding on their April 5 game.  The two Southland teams and vying Western Conference Pacific Division rivals played this game trying to establish a good spot heading into the NBA playoffs.  Coming into the game, the Clippers had beaten the Lakers 10 straight times. As much as this is clearly a Lakers town due to the high volume of headliners, Hall of Famers and stars the team has had as well as the number of championships won (17), the Clippers have been a thorn for them.  The two teams entered this matchup locked in a near dead heat with each as both sported identical 41-38 records. The Clippers walked into the contest as the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference. The Lakers came in right behind them as the No. 7 seed. The win put the Clippers at No. 5.
Tumblr media
If the season were to end today, the Clippers would be matched up against the No. 4 Phoenix Suns in the first round of the playoffs. The Lakers, holding at No. 7, would lock horns with the Sacramento Kings (No.3), a team no one wants to see in the first round.  The Clippers came out right out of the game in the first quarter, dropping buckets left and right, racing to a 15-3 lead on their way to a 37-point scoring period. The Lakers made a nice run to get back into the game, even briefly taking the lead at one point.  That would be about all of the highlights the Lakers had in the first half as Kawhi Leonard and his 17 points saw to it that the Clippers maintained their double-digit lead going into halftime. The Clippers went into intermission with a 71-52 lead. Kawhi Leonard, who scored 25 points, talked afterward about the early jump the Clippers got on the Lakers.  “We came out with energy early,” Leonard said. “We were able to secure a win being up you know 15, 20 points early. That’s always big in the NBA. If you’re up early, it’s always a comeback in this day of age with the three-point shot. So, I seen that we kept our foot on the pedal and we were able to secure a win and keep our lead throughout the whole game.” Read the full article

Day four - Friday, March 17th
HOWDY BLOG, Todays was the day I had off from competitions, I went to a seminar about working in the TV industry and different media markets. I learned so much in such a short amount of time - Once my seminar ended I explored the convention center with Jane for a little while before meeting up with Nick after his seminar ended. Once we were together again, the three of us went to Starbucks to grab some lunch. After lunch, Nick and I went to the expo area of the convention center. It was amazing to talk to so many cool people from both TV colleges and tv related businesses. My favorite tables were the ones for Sony and Cannon (#teamcannon). Everyone at the booths were amazing and very knowledgeable, we got into very long conversations with the people from almost every Table hahaha- We got tons of free stuff and were able to play around with some crazy cool camera gear. Nick and I even had the incredible opportunity to have a one-on-one meeting session with Lakers Reporter Dave McMenamin. He was so cool to talk to! I never realized how much the convention had to offer outside of competitions- the expo was an amazing experience. After we were done, Nick and I took a nice chill break in a quiet lounge area of the convention center. Nick was able to catch up on his homework while we relaxed. Once the rest of the boys were done with their competitions, most of us headed over to the park to unwind and have some much-needed fun time. We goofed off on the playground and played catch in the field. A girl from Carlsbad also tagged along with us. She was super cool, and we all enjoyed hanging out with her. The whole city around the convention center is really nice and I like how close everything it to the hotel it’s been a really cool change of scenery compared to home After the park, we headed to dinner. Then, it was time for the excellence award ceremony. We had to sit Though a lot of very boring talking but it was all worth it when we found out we won the award for #1 WEEKLY NEWS SHOW IN THE NATION! We all went crazy! When we got back to the hotel I set up some stuff on my laptop for a commercial tomorrow- worried about not getting a Product prompt but I guess we just have to wait and see- -Brandon (These blogs will be uploaded after the stn trip so the dates won’t match up)

Preseason records
Over the last couple of days of the NBA preseason a lot more teams have had a debut. They were able to showcase skills and plays they worked on over the off season. It seems each team had made a lot of progress in their craft. Today the lakers play the warriors which is a big match up as they are both competitors. Lebron James and Anthony Davis who have been hurt vs Steph and the warriors. The Timberwolves are also playing the clippers where we can see the new lineup the wolves made against a healthy kawhi Paul George and John wall. These matchups are highly anticipated and enjoyable for most supporters
