Every time I rewatch SOTUS I am struck by how Merthur coded Kongpob and Arthit are
#i have said it once and I've said it again#they are so merthur#sotus#bbc merlin#merthur#thaibl#like obviously merthur has the je nais se quois that no one else can match in my heart#but do they not share vibes? like their first meeting being kongpob standing up to arthit for the hazing#sassing him so bad everyone else is like oooOOoooh#continuing to sass him well into realising that he's actually a good leader and he genuinely believes in him#arthit being the repressed idiot who doesn't always get his own feelings or know how to express them#he's good with actions/he's not a morning person/the other hazers believe deeply in him#kongpob being the popular friendly one#arthit being easily flustered#kongpob sometimes going over the top in his praises leaving Arthit going what the fuck bro#yeah they don't have the destiny the devotion the insane humour but the beats of the relationship are the SAME#also kongpob going up to arthit and literally being like 'totally seems like you pick on me cause you like me' sfhgkjdfhg an icon#tell me merlin wouldn't do that in an alternate universe where their situation was different
