I am SEVENTEEN years old and will be a JUNIOR. I would describe myself as HEARTFELT and EAGER, but also UNINHIBITED and PIGHEADED which I plan to work on during my time here. This is my request to join the VICTORIA building as a house MEMBER and look forward to hearing back from you.

so first thing’s first, freya was born n raised in chicago alongside her father and her older sister
her mother had died during freya’s birth--though freya doesn’t...blame herself, necessarily, there are days where she imagines what life would’ve been like if her mother was still alive
her dad’s a mechanic and the sole provider for their household, which meant that he was gone more often than not
regardless, he tried to be as active as possible in his children’s lives
her sister always took up the role of..well, mother, in a sense
freya and her are incredibly close b/c of this
even so--her father had wanted them to be as active as possible, as out of the house as he was--so it didn’t seem like he was gone as much as he was
so, with a few strings pulled and familial connections, freya was able to attend ballet lessons at a young age, alongside an instrument of her choosing, at a discounted price
she chose violin btw...very relevant
and like, to everybody’s surprise--she sort of excelled at both--it almost came naturally, though that didn’t mean she hadn’t put in a buncha effort regardless, y’know
practice makes perfect, yadda yadda
took up a few more instruments for fun, such as piano and like...i dunno, guitar of various forms (including bass guitar) though she likes violin the best
that led to her attending a p prestigious performing arts high school in her city--which wasn’t done by pulling strings
her father worked even more shifts, her sister got a job to help pitch in, they took out loans, yadda yadda. anything they could do so she could pursue this...dream
except...ballet and violin has never been freya’s dream--its just something she happens to be good at
everybody just...assumed, that since she was so talented, she had to want to pursue it
not the case at all, really. she loves it, really, but...her passion has always surrounded animals
specifically marine animals, which is odd considering freya had never seen the ocean before
really...marine anything, she loves. maybe it’s because its something she hasn’t experienced , but ykno
ANYWAYS
she felt sort of...stuck, b/c she never wanted to disappoint her dad or her sister or any of their family friends who were all rootin’ for her
this led to some...rebellion, of sorts, when she was a freshmen
nothing...BAD, per say, but y’know. baseball bats to mailboxes whilst hanging out of the window of a pick-up truck, vandalizing abandoned buildings and historical monuments, shoplifting from convenience stores.
okay so like...a little bad
that was just the crowd she found herself in, y’know, in her teenage angst
has definitely been arrested a few times, but has always managed to get off scotch free ??
it’s luck, im telling u. she only has like..three things on her record rn
ALSO learned how to ride a motorcycle and was in a punk band based in her school n did bass for it, ‘cos that’s what rebellious teenagers do n whatever
and this, well, y’know. did disappoint her father and her sister and all their family friends but at this point freya was like ?? i can’t stop
her boyfriend at the time was a major contributor to her troublemaking tbh
when he transferred to kingswood, freya’s lil 15 yr old heart was broken.
spent her entire sophomore yr working her ass off and getting her shit together so that kingswood would look at her, and pick her, too--
and like...it finally paid off, y’know? her junior year they’d graciously given her a scholarship based off of her music AND academics
so she was absolutely thrilled
granted, she was only able to start attending halfway thru her junior year, at the beginning of the second semester...but she was there, at least, right?
very ecstatic to find her boyfriend and surprise him
they’d been doing long distance, and he had no idea that she had gotten in
found out his dorm number, walked right up to his door--knocked, and he answered with his shirt off n a number of hickeys on his chest
it was a surprise for both of them lmao
obv. freya is not stupid, if not a lil blinded by love at the time. they broke up, she was heartbroken
sorta shut herself in for a few months ‘cos she was so sad abt it
so it’s kinda like she’s still new, tho it’s been a few months since january
but she’s BACK and she’s POPPIN’ and she acts like it still doesn’t bother her !
but like...it does. it rly does. she’s still mcfreakin’ hurt abt it, she’s just handling it in another way

so here’s some info about ian:
he was raised in what you would call a typical family
he’s a legacy because his father attended this school
his father owns a hospital and his mother was a renown surgeon at the hospital
when ian was about 14, his mother up and left with no goodbyes
ian believed this to be because his father didn’t show his mother love since his father is very cold hearted
due to that, ian is a person who makes sure the person in front of him knows EXACTLY how he’s feeling
this brings me into his crazy bit of him being a bit obsessive sometimes
he has no median, ian either really enjoys someones company or detests it
ian has never felt like he was ever truly loved which is why when he hangs on, HE HANGS ON
he’s very similar to a puppy honestly
he’s also very reactive and he is indeed self-destructive

Born in New Zealand, but moved here when he turned fourteen.
Benji is a v kind person who doesn’t like conflict at all. He prefers to stay away from any sort of drama. It’s also v hard to get him into drama because he’ll just shrug it off.
He cares deeply though but knows sometimes it’s better to ignore things.
Benji is a sweetheart, yes, and while he likes to joke around with people and is overall an easy-going person, he doesn’t have many friends. None really. He’s too busy with his own inner world, and of course, he’s busy thinking about his dogs.

- Effie is the adopted daughter of the Hayes family, a prominent family with ties to multiple politicians. Her father works as a diplomat; her mother is a lawyer. Her parents are extremely overbearing, encouraging her to excel in music and sports as well as attain straight As. They expect her to go on to study at an Ivy League college; this is not what Effie has in mind.
- Effie was adopted from South Korea when she was six months old, so she does not speak any Korean or really have any ties to her cultural heritage. She has always felt left out as people immediately understand that she is adopted due to her ethnicity. This was only worsened when her parents managed to conceive a younger sister, Leonie. Effie feels concerned that her parents will slowly begin to forget about her; this is partially what causes her to act out and be somewhat bitter.
- On the surface, Effie is funny, sarcastic, and pretty impulsive. She will do anything for her friends and she is up for anything. She is the type to frequently get into trouble for sassing teachers, and other dumb reasons. However, Effie is difficult to get close to. Her humour can make her seem downright rude, and her tendency to not think things through can make her make poor decisions, which cost her in the longterm.
- Effie plays flute in the orchestra, and plays as a midfielder on the soccer team. She loves soccer and would honestly prefer to follow sports professionally, but of course her parents would never allow it. Her preferred school subjects are math and physics; she can work with numbers but is terrible with essay based subjects.
- Effie identifies as bisexual and at one point was in a serious relationship with a woman. However, when she came out to her parents they were less than happy. They forced her to undergo six months of conversion therapy, and to keep her sexuality a secret. She is slightly traumatised from said therapy, and frightened her secret will be revealed, thus making her parents send her back.

nathaniel green grew up happy, albeit perhaps a lil dorky--but ultimately, the young boy was happy.
he loved his parents, his brother, the quaint town they’d grow up in--it was a supportive environment, enriched with love
so how did little nathan grow up to be such a massive prick? the leader of a secret society?
he’d always grown up the more responsible twin, the one who kept life organized and tidied and always did his homework and extra credit and really...just, stayed close to his studies.
the kinda boy who loved flowers but dared not pick them, knowing they’d die if he did so
it was a naive lifestyle.
when the boys were 12, their mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.
nathan had never known heartbreak until he heard the news, and he did everything a 12 year old could possibly do to keep his family happy in times so dark
ultimately; it was not enough. she passed away before their freshmen year and a part of the young boy had died as well.
as noah delved into a life of partying and drugs, nathan had stuck strongly to his studies. more so than most young boys, really. with their father struggling both emotionally and financially, nate had determined that it was up to him to restore their family’s financial security.
his ambitions have always ran high. and he always found a way to succeed.
even if it required getting his hands dirty
never allowed himself to get below an A, because he was not a failure--if his grades ever did slip, he was sure to punish himself. it was only right.
the joy in the boy’s eyes had died, and nathan was no longer the sweet boy his family had known and loved
kingswood had never met that child, in fact.
he’s all about business, and achieving his goals. there’s no room for kindness when you’ve got an empire to conquer.
involved himself in as many clubs and sports as he thought he could manage, as a means to put himself in positions of power.
though just a regular student on a partial scholarship, his ambition is what led to him being welcomed into edward
his junior year he had started his very own cybersecurity freelance business, funded by a select few...connections the young man had made networking during the school’s more prestigious events, including a few members on the board of trustees.
this is when the boy really started making money
like...a lot of fucking money
he had created his own security program, y’know? just. a lotta fancy shit.
it was also the same year he had been approached by the shadow brigade, having been recruited the summer before his junior year.
they saw his potential; wanted to harness it. so he joined.
was it strenuous and at times painful? yes.
but was it oh so worth it
when he turned 18 is when he turned his cybersecurity business into a full-on company, with his own workers. effectively made himself a CEO.
like homeboy is probably going to be accepted to multiple ivy leagues for his intelligence and ambition
the same year, his senior year, he’s been...promoted, in a way, in the society. as their leader.
yes this means he’s mc’smuggling drugs

still sorta keeps to himself, though. reserved but well known.

ran away for a month or two his senior year with this chick who was NOT the girlfriend he had been in a committed relationship with for several months prior.
it was a business thing, more-so him being dumb and in love when he decided to run away, okay?
her father was a fairly influential man and nathan had decided the best way to gather his attention was to run off with his daughter.
i mean...it worked.
came back to kingswood purely because the brigade alumni had enough of his childish foolery

hey guys, i’m cat and this is my bb aksel !! please like this if you want to plot :’)
aksel grew up as an only child on manhattan’s upper east side, in a townhouse where every inch of wall space was filled with striking artwork from every corner of the globe. his father, an art historian and collector, would often give him full lectures on each piece of painting hanging in their home.
being constantly surrounded by art and creativity, drawing just came naturally to aksel. his artistic talent was already evident at a young age, and its recognition by his mother, a world-renowned artist, encouraged his decision to follow in her footsteps.
she used to be a student at kingswood and some of her pieces now adorn the walls of the library !!
he’s danish on his father’s side and speaks both english and danish fluently.
he’s extremely humble, despite coming from a privileged background.
he’ll usually make an honest effort to get along with everyone. he can be super friendly if he knows you’re an okay person; but if you’re being shitty & treating him badly, he’s just gonna treat you ten times worse.
aksel doesn’t put up with shit from anyone, except when it comes to his boyfriend. their relationship is a constant cycle of him breaking up with aksel and then crawling back weeks later and it’s just very angsty and definitely draining aksel emotionally. no matter how much he’s hurting, aksel can’t bring himself to end the relationship once and for all, as part of him is still hoping that his boyfriend will change.

At Kingswood Academy, you may find yourself crossing paths with someone who looks a lot like ANSEL ELGORT, but that’s actually JACKSON KING. HE is a SEVENTEEN year old JUNIOR who lives in the HENRY HOUSE. Word is they are a REGULAR student who is FOR the changes happening at Kingswood this year. That makes sense, since I’ve heard they can be UNSERIOUS, COMPASSIONATE, ESCAPIST, and RESILIENT. Either way, like everyone else here at Kingswood, I’m sure they have their skeletons in the closet.

The rundown
☆*:.｡. Jackson is the twin brother of Isaac King
☆*:.｡. He has been here since freshman year, so if you want our charas to already know each other, I am 150% down!! Assume connections or hit me up with any ideas. I am literally open to anything. Like this and I’ll come to you (:
☆*:.｡. Jackson and Isaac were child actors. When they were very young, they would share roles due to child labour laws. I think some of their roles might have been Sprouse Twins’ Big Daddy-esque movies, but for the most part, the twins had more so serious roles
☆*:.｡. As they got a bit older however, Jackson had a few roles without his brother. (As did Isaac ofc)
☆*:.｡. He enjoyed acting when he was very young, but upon signing the contract for the Disney show Brady’s Brainwaves, he had a really shady incident happen with one of the producers at Disney that completely turned him off from the industry all together. He and his brother spent weeks begging their parents to somehow get them out of this contract but ultimately, Disney only allowed for one twin to leave the show and thankfully, Jackson left
☆*:.｡. Since then, Jackson has somewhat had the privilege of doing his own thing and expressing his creativity in other ways, but at the cost of his greedy parents completely favouring Isaac in nearly every aspect of their lives lol
☆*:.｡. This has led Jackson to feel some level of resentment for both his parents and for Isaac, although he never shows it. Their parents were awful to the both of them and because of this, Isaac is the only person that Jackson ever truly had and as a result, he is afraid at his own ability to resent and feel jealous his brother. He tries to push it down pretty much whenever it arises.
☆*:.｡. Aside from that Isaac is the most important person in Isaac’s life. They are literally soulmates, they are best friends, they are silly, annoying and obnoxious together. Everyone around Kingswood knows them for being melodramatic goofballs who are attached at the hip
☆*:.｡. Jackson is extremely artsy-fartsy. He always has been. He s very creative, and from a young age, had always been good at drawing and painting. As he has gotten older, painting has gradually taken up his entire free time, literally painting everyone and everything that garnered his interest or inspired him.
☆*:.｡. Since Brady’s Brainwaves ended, and Isaac began pursuing a career of his own outside of what his parents had always wanted, Jackson gradually began to realize that he still did want to act, but was simply too afraid to even tread closely to that life ever again. His parents had definitely continued to pressure him, and it was through that pressure that he decided it was more important for him that he did what he enjoyed freely, and not under any influence of his parents. He much rathered staying under their radar at all costs.

☆*:.｡. He generally very outgoing. He almost jumps at the opportunity to say something silly or witty or just generally be over dramatic just bc he finds it and himself amusing
☆*:.｡. He is also typically pretty flirty... not always outwardly; he doesn’t make a big deal of himself but he finds it fun and usually doesn’t flirt with the intention of it going anywhere
☆*:.｡. He has a bit of a bleeding heart but it’s definitely not worn on his sleeve.

I would describe myself as LOYAL and TRUSTING, but also STUBBORN and DEFENSIVE which I plan to work on during my time here. - Asher attended Kingswood from freshman year. Throughout his time at Kingswood, he was pretty much always known as a major jock, always being on at least two sports teams. It’s pretty much the only thing he’s ever been good at. However, two months before the rp takes place, he ended up collapsing and going into cardiac arrest during a track meet, the result of an undiagnosed congenital heart defect. It was corrected through surgery, and he’s now cleared to go back to doing everything he was before - but he’s been away from Kingswood for two months, during which time he didn’t contact any of his friends to let them know he was fine. So it’s pretty awkward for him coming back. He just wants to act like nothing ever happened, but obviously that’s difficult . . .
- Asher is in general a pretty friendly guy. He tries to be nice to everyone, and it takes a fair bit for him to be anything other than polite to you - unless you insult his friends, in which case he can quickly get defensive. He’s very loyal - he won’t give up on his friends, ever. He’s also pretty trusting, which can become an issue since he can get gullible at times. He’s stubborn, and has a tendency to overwork himself as a result.
- His father is Irish and his mother Mexican, but Asher himself was born in New York. His father works in cybersecurity, but had initially aspired to a career in soccer before an injury sidelined him. As a result, pretty much as soon as Asher learned to walk he has been pushed toward sports and toward fulfilling his father’s dream rather than realising his own. As he grew older, the urge to please his family never left him, so he continued - often sacrificing other dreams he had to make his sporting commitments work out better. He never felt bitter, really, even though his fraternal twin seemed to get less pushed than Asher, possibly because Asher showed more promise - Asher has a pathological need to please others, which overrides any bitterness he might feel. It’s actually one of his primary weaknesses - his need to please can interfere with anything he’s trying to do, and cause insecurity.
- Asher was previously generally down for whatever. He might not have been a “bad boy,” and drugs were a step too far due to potential drug testing, but underage drinking and parties? Fine. However, since his collapse and subsequent heart surgery, he’s been more withdrawn - and less willing to do such things.

tw: it’s long but also death, injury, abuse, alcoholism and I think that's it (how fun im sorry)
ramona was born in New York city. her mom (iris) was a nurse who told her that her dad was a man who was too busy to know the good things in life and that's why he had left.
but ramona didn't care since it was just her and her mom against the world, in their little apartment. ramona literally idolized iris, she adored her mother and was her little shadow. they did everything together and iris instilled in ramona to always be kind, humble, grateful and loyal.
but when ramona was six years old, the cab in which she and her mom were traveling got t-boned by an SUV. iris died instantly but little ramona was caught in the wreckage with an extensive list of injuries.
it was all very confusing when she woke up the doctors told her that her mom was dead and that her dad who she had never even met was going to come get her and take her to live somewhere else, with his real family. it was all very painful and overwhelming and ramona started hiding into herself
ramona almost made a full recovery except for her left leg, which had been very badly damaged. the doctors recommended amputation but that was a no-go for her new family (the Harlows) who already hated ramona just for existing and didn't want the bastard daughter to be an amputee on top of everything.
so from then until this day, ramona has to wear a brace on her leg that’s very noticeable and embarrassing and she has a lot of pain on her leg from nerve damage and tbh if she could cut it off herself she would
but living with the Harlows was nothing short of a nightmare for little ramona. from the instant she walked in, she was despised by two of her half siblings and by their mom, eleanor.
Eleanor quickly became the face of Ramona’s nightmares. nothing she ever did was right. she was always yelled at, chastised and ostracized. plus, mrs harlow didn't hesitate on getting physical with her husband’s illegitimate daughter.
mr harlow wasn't any help since he wasn't around and ramona had no idea why he had taken her in since he never once acted like he wanted her
ramona resorted to just hiding: at school, at home, during family events. dragging a bunch of books behind her into the nearest closet and just staying there for hours
laurel was a saving grace, when the girl that was her older sister for just a few months started accepting ramona as her own. for the first time in years, the brunette felt like she maybe wasn't completely alone in the world
ramona worked hard at school to make sure she could make a good name for herself that wasn't entirely tied to her “family”. she got very good grades and mainly excelled in science. she had always had a big love for animals, and she wanted to become a veterinarian
when eleanor finally drank herself to death, ramona didn't know how to react. it was an awful thing but it also meant that the woman who tortured her nonstop was never going to do it again. but she also knew that she was the reason why Eleanor drank. and she knew Rhys and Lelah (her second biggest nightmare) most definitely blamed her for their mother’s death
Few things changed after that. Eleanor’s damage was done and ramona was a fearful, meek girl whose voice was seldom heard. she kept hiding, working on her grades and sneaking out to pet her neighbor’s dogs and feed the ducks (her favorite animal) at the lake
getting accepted into Kingswood was great news. ramona thought that the Harlows would have made it so she couldn't follow her siblings there.
but ramona could finally gain some freedom and autonomy, even as a girl who’s afraid of her own shadow.
ramona is a physically small girl, always limping around with her bad leg. she’s very gentle and tries to be approachable to make the friends she never had. she’s very loyal and always wants to help. She just really really craves acceptance and affection.

-Julian comes from a family of affluence, all he’s known all his life is that they’ve got money and that they wanted him to be the next heir to the fortune, but all of that came with a price.
-His father is one of the head honchos of the Korean underworld, and his father’s plan was to groom him into becoming an acceptable heir to carry on the operation after he was gone. All of this meant that he’d be homeschooled as a child and tutors would come in to teach him all that he would need to fulfill his duties.
-As a child he craved tenderness, the kind of relationships that he only read about but never got the chance to experience as his parents always seemed more like cold and distant strangers than the kind and doting parents he would read about in books.
-Of course he was let to have some relationships with the children of his father’s associates those who didn’t know of his ties, those completely unaware of the hell the man was putting the young boy through. When he got to hang out with the Taylors, those were his happiest days.
-His father took away each and every chance that Julian got to form a kind of relationship that would make him vulnerable. Be it animals or even the other tutors who would grow protective of him would simply vanish without a word in his life. Julian was beginning to feel the coldness of isolation and knew that his father was behind it all.
-As the years went by, he started to become more rebellious, beginning to do more and more things that were against his father’s wishes until he finally managed to sneak out of his home, and venture out into the city. Julian had of course been out into the city, but never alone, never like this and it was all a new experience to him.
-It was here that he met a boy and the two would quickly hit it off. This made Julian sneak out of his home more often to met his new friend, and in time that friendship sparked into something more, something he never thought possible for himself. They were young and foolish, but so in love that nothing felt like it could come between them.
- Little did he know that all this time his father had been sending one of his goons to tail Julian, so he always knew what his child had been doing for the past few years. With the change in his boy’s attitude, his father came forward and apologized to Julian for keeping him locked up like a prisoner, and offered to make amends.
-Once he was brought his boyfriend to dinner, Julian believed this would be a change in the right. As his father revealed that the very boy whom he had been dating had been hired by him, and that every bit of the relationship had been fake all in the hopes to break his spirits.
-He gave him some freedom, let him pursue a career in acting which the boy was quick to land a gig on show where he was forced to date the main female star of the show and he hated every second of it.
-Now after being on the show for so long and needed some form of normalcy, he set sights on Kingswood, and is just happy that he gets to reconnect with the Taylors once more.

first thing’s first is HELLO! I’M ROSE AND THIS IS MY SWEET BBY GIRL
Adelaide was born to Henry and Maria Darling, two high class socialites who host the fanciest house parties. Her father is a well respected lawyer and her mother is the perfect little house wife hostess.
her mother raised her to follow in her footsteps as the perfect hostess and socialite. Rather than playing with dolls or playing outside with the other kids, Adelaide was kept inside. Wearing fancy dresses and learning proper etiquette.
As she got older, she did grow into a very warm hostess and socialite. Talking with everyone, picking out the perfect champagne and hors d’oeuvre, and wearing the perfect dress.
She got into Kingswood with almost no trouble at all- her mother had been the cheerleading captain and editor on the school paper while her father was on the debate team and part of this other club Adelaide was never allowed to know about. Rather than going into the Elizabeth house like her mother wanted, she signed up for the Victoria house.
Really any chance she has at getting back at her mother, she’s all for. She often hears her mother in her head, scolding her or telling her what to do. She likes to do the opposite or ignore it if she can.
In summary Adelaide wants to make her own name for herself and show the real her, not let the cold and successful legacy of her parents make her name for her.

Katya Jade Munu is from Hawaii born, August 22nd to Kyle and Lena Munu. Her life has been not the best. She doesn't feel she belongs with her family and has been let known she was not wanted from day one. Her mother stays drunk most days and her father is disgusted that she's a girl. She was switched at birth but has yet to figure it all out even though she assumes that. Her father is a multi billionaire and into drug trafficking and in charge of the mafia in Hawaii. She doesn't know much about her fathers business because she knows it's dangerous. Her father forced her into a relationship with someone he wanted to do businesses with and even though Katya was against the relationship she did fall in love with him. The guy became extremely controlling and verbally abusive. It did turn pretty physical in the abuse department to the point she has some scars. She does smoke weed and dabble in drugs and alcohol. She's a fly by the seat type of girl and is letting loose now that she's out from her father that scares her. She is passionate about any kind of music, loves sketching, and an amazing photographer and is struggling with the thought of trying to model.
Katay loves Photography and anything to do with art.
She has been drawing and sketching since the age of five.
Katya also loves to cook and bake for her friends. She once entered a future chef contest in elementary school and won first place.
Katya grew up in Hawaii so she loves the beach and surfing. Although, she isn’t in anyway a pro at it.
She was in Ballet starting at the age of three but had to stop due to hurting her ankle pretty badly in middle school. She was too scared to test the ankle. But misses it terribly
