For WIP Week, I'd like to shout out my own fic. It's a crossover au that uses the setting of Changeling: the Lost, making it a story that's a dark fairytale urban fantasy about surviving abuse and building community with other abuse survivors. The story is currently in the first arc, building towards a first climax in a few chapters.

I am very proud of this story. I use second person to make emotions vivid and close to the reader. I use multiple perspectives to portray different voices and conflicting perspectives. The story is intense, full of hurt/comfort, loss and hope, and magic.

The saddest thing is when beautiful endangered birds are killed by cars.. I found this lovely boy on the road and took him off it, laid him to rest on the side so he wasn't being constantly run over (he was in the middle of the road where he could have been constantly hit). I didn't take him as he looked like a falcon and it's better to be safe. Researched what he was after and found out he's illegal to keep any part of, so good on me for leaving him over taking. He's an American Kestrel, an endangered falcon subspecies protected under federal law. It's pretty sad but it's life. Hopefully he's at peace and wasn't in pain when he got hit. Enjoy his beauty even in death. I snapped photos before I laid him to rest in the brush beside the road.

PLEASE RESEARCH BEFORE YOU TAKE ROADKILL! RESEARCH WHAT ANIMALS ARE OK TO TAKE AND NOT!!! DONT GO TO JAIL OVER A BIRD!

(Please note I placed him on a white styrofoam box for a moment to take some nice photos before I laid him to rest in the brush. Ain't nothing illegal about taking a photo of a beautiful bird. Also FUCK whoever killed this precious being. FUCK cars and roads.)

Kestral, Loci and Haetis. Because I realized 2 days ago that I haven’t drawn these guys in forever, and I had a 2 hour car appointment that allowed me to sit and doodle XD

Bit of a lapse in updates both because I’m working on like 50 charm designs and have made it through 25 of them. Because I’m dumb and indecisive.

Also work has been super mentally draining because we’re moving to a new building and I’m part of the planning for that. Brain fried zombie all the time now XDD
