no more infighting the diversity of taste in marauders fandom is my favorite thing about being here… just saw barty hate describing him as a creepy arrogant coward with emotional regulation issues probably hunched over a desk doodling dead animals and my instinctual response was 🥰🥰 hell yes he is….. that’s my boy 💞💞…… at the same time i love the marauders but it’s the most hilariously fruitless thing ever when i see someone trying to explain to me that the gryffindors MUST be more likable as characters because they are “kind” and “brave” and “not incredibly morally reprehensible”…… what if i like the spineless terrorist torturer character. what if i want him carnally. what if i’m saying he did nothing wrong and lovingly readjusting his house arrest ankle bracelet. where does that leave us now

Here is a from a scene in a linzolt fic called ‘Ghost of Weddings’ by @chiefbeifongcanrailme
“Floating above the ground was a terribly adorable-looking fox-rabbit. Except, fox-rabbits couldn’t fly and they didn’t have tiny wings on their backs. They also weren’t colored in shades of lilac. This one also had green spots all over its fur with two antenna-like appendages on top of its head. The ends of these antennae were poofy, like daffodils…”
I really recommend checking Kat’s fic out, it’s the perfect mixture of angst, comedy and fluff.
Edit: added wings to the spirit. (Can’t believe I forgot that)

Hello I return with an unrelated idea
Imagine rama's partner crying after he says "i love you" for the first time because he's never said it back even after years
And rama realizes from that dramatic reaction how much they were really craving to hear it in return... so he tries. It's still seldom, and its always awkward, and quiet, and he needs to stare at them for a period of (what looks like) random silence to hype himself into saying it, but he tries, and the effort makes them happier than the words even do at that point
-🍒
I'm actually going to cry oh my god. Just- the monumental feelings he has to overcome to say it to begin with but then facing that over and over to keep saying it, not just in response (which maybe is harder, because despite how often he's gone not replying and your repeated assurances that it's okay, he still feels he should say it then) but also spontaneously.
And just all the little times he'd say it and you realize he's been watching you do your mundane little life activities-- like him saying it in a rushed little whisper after he's watched you fold laundry for twenty minutes. Because you might expect it a little more if you're dressed up and look nice, if you've done something romantic- but him saying it, working through all his distress to tell you right then, when you're doing nothing? It's so emotionally devastating in the best way.
