I know Another Day isn't canon these are different versions of the characters etc etc but I still find it interesting that both Joshua and Minamimoto are generally kinder, more tolerant people in a world where Joshua has a place in the RG where he can go to be a normal kid for a little while and Sho has a non-destructive creative outlet and positive relationships with the people around him

The AD!cast arent wildly different people. their situations have just changed #kariya is still laid back and work-adverse. uzuki is still tempermental.#megumi talks about how tin pin is a metaphore for society so hes. himself.#joshua outright states that AD is simply a divergent path. this is what they COULD HAVE BEEN had circumstances been different #so i find it really sad just how little these two needed to be so much more content #joshua needed a means of connection. even something as simple as writing a column in a magazine was enough #he wasnt isolated anymore. it was a stabilizing force in his life that prevented him from withdrawing and becoming disillusioned #with Shibuya and the people in it. Tin Pin let him be a normal kid for a while.#Sho needed a positive parental figure to keep him on the right path. someone who could find him a healthy outlet for his energy/creativity #In that way Ken Doi is the complete opposite to Hanekoma. he had his reasons but ultimately he was a deadly enabler #and Sho paid the price #AUGH #twewy #sho minamimoto #joshua kiryu
